On April 27 these games will be released:

Super Mario World - €7.99/£5.49
Ice Climber - €4.99/£3.49
Mario's Super Picross - €7.99/£5.49
Donkey Kong Jr. - €4.99/£3.49
Excitebike - €4.99/£3.49
Punch-Out!! - €4.99/£3.49
F-Zero - €7.99/£5.49

These games I think they are a bit overpriced. NES games should be a £1 each and SNES games should be £1.50.

I was looking at pics of Super Mario World on the eShop and it looks very crisp the colors, more so. The details page said it can be in 1080p the graphics.

oh, well if that's the case then it deserves to be at £5

So, can anyone comment on the emulation and if they're in 60Hz or not?

Virtual Console is now available for Wii U In Japan and NA. Cannot confirm EU as of right now.

I haven't checked myself, but some posters over on NeoGaf have confirmed it's now live via screenshots.

I just bought it once I read this. It literally only took a minute to download and install.

@SCAR392 - So they're all $7.99 (SNES) and $4.99 (NES), no variations at all? I just remember them being 500 and 800 points, but want to be sure I'm translating that price right.

Yes. NES games are still $5 like 500. I didn't have any to update, but I'm guessing that would be $0.99 and $1.49. You'd have to ask someone that already had Super Mario World whether the update option is going, though.

I find a noticeable improvement in the response time for SMW

On the original Wii and even in the Virtual Wii mode on Wii U, Super Mario World had this annoying lag between a button press and Mario's response.
Made it basically unplayable for anyone use to the perfect controls of the original cart. Playing on the same TV now, I don't have that problem anymore.

If it's the same pricing in Aus as the "original price" for the VC promotion games are then they are cheaper than they were originally. The Wii Points were universal but the AUD to Wii Points conversion meant that NES games cost $7.50AU. So they're cheaper now at $6.99AU or something.
