I just read the WiiConnect24 page on Wikipedia and I'm just wondering... What was all the hype about WiiConnect24? I love the Wii, no doubt, but was this really supposed to be in some means, revolutionary?
I never understood it either, you're not going to be able to read or use anything until you've turned the console on anyway, so what's the use of being able to receive it any earlier?
It's so that awesome blue light can come on while I'm watching a movie, then I'm forced to either pause the movie and do the thing, or try to ignore it, whilst sitting in the dark, with a blue light flashing at me, pulsing even, in my brain.

Total fail dude you are right! I'll be like "excuse me while I pause the movie and sort that light out" and they're like "what light, didn't notice". I am anal!
As for WiiConnect24, if we had a fully dynamic freind system in place, it would be totally worth it. But, just to alert you to new msgs seems a bit much now.

i love it but right now it feels that its not supported enough the only real game that uses it is animal crossing besides that it gets news from nintendo
more companys need to employ it into games even if its small use i find it funny on how i am the only person in my family that sees when its on no one else sees a bright blue light out of my wii
