Sonic got one, why not Mario? I mean Mario hasn't had a cartoon since like 1991 and Sonic got an anime adaptation before Mario. So I think Nintendo should make one. If they make a Mario anime it should be about Mario and the entire Mushroom Kingdom inhabitants getting teleported to the real world similar to Sonic X's plot. I know that sounds like they're ripping off Sonic X but that's the only way to add a storyline since most Mario games don't have one (Except the Super Mario RPG, Paper Mario, and the Mario & Luigi series). Anyways the anime starts off with Mario rescuing Princess Peach and Daisy whom were both captured by Bowser and Kammy Koopa as a trap for Mario so he could use the Star Rod to destroy Mushroom Kingdom but accidentally teleports everyone to Earth instead. Mario wakes up back in Brooklyn, New York exactly 25 years after he left it behind to rescue Princess Peach during the events of the original Super Mario Bros. and now must find a way back to Mushroom Kingdom. Anyways, I think this would be a great plot for a Mario anime. I really wouldn't want the anime set in Mushroom Kingdom because that would look goofy for an anime adaptation of Nintendo's signature series. But does anyone else like my idea for a Mario anime eventhough it sounds an awful lot like Sonic X.
They haven't made a Mario anime because anime is stupid. Why and how a single style of drawing got so huge is beyond me. If it was one artist's style, then that'd be great, but I have no respect for an art style where the object is to draw your characters like everyone else.
