This isn't a franchise, but I'd like to see a sequel to Geist. That's one of my favorite games. Of course, the ending was pretty final, if I remember correctly.
Which Nintendo Franchise Would You Like To Make An Appearance On Wii And Why ?
Pilotwings - I had so much fun with the N64 sequel, twas such a joy travelling around those islands using different modes of transport. So much challenge too, a real joy to master. And what about Birdman, cruising around taking photo's of stuff, so so relaxing. We never got a GC sequel, even though Factor 5 were rumoured to be doing so. With the flying bits in Resort showing what could be possible, I EXPECT a sequel for Wii, and will be immensely disappointed if we don't see one. Dya hear me Ninty!?!!!
F-Zero - The first three games are amazing, especially the GC version which Amusement Vision did an amazing job on, pure H-Core! I'm not sure why there hasn't been news of a sequel yet, motion control steering could really add to the formula, as could mass online races. Again, if the Wii doesn't receive some F-Zero lovin', I will be vewy sad.
Waverace - I never really played the Gameboy version, my introduction to the series was Wave Race 64, which had amazing water effects for it's time. Mastering the waves was just as important as memorizing the tracks. Blue Storm added tonnes of speed and stunts, and is one my most loved racers ever, demanding real skill and finesse on the later difficulties. You know what I'm gonna say next.... Sequel... Now... Nintendo!!! pleeeease
1080 Snowboarding - The GC version never reached the heights of it's predecessor for me, but it was still a great bit of snowboarding fun. Nothing like feeling an avalanche on your tail, as you hammer down a mountain. All they need to do is stick with the formula that worked so well in the first two games, improve the visuals and perhaps add motion+ board control, and Shaun White wouldn't know what hit him.
Starfox - If this series dies with the not so good GC and DS versions, it will be a real shame. Motion control could add so much to the dogfights... Do a Waggle Barrel Roll!!! We need more Starfox, but look toward Starfox 64 for inspiration. Mmmmkay?!?
Pikmin - #3 is en route, isn't it?! At least that's what I'm telling myself. More Olimar goodness please.
Mario Tennis & Mario Golf - Motion+, ergh hello.... :/ Gimme! seems like a no-brainer to me
^ Agreed, great game! The multiplayer was sooo much fun and I would love to see an online version for Wii.
I shall finish my wishlist with Custom Robo. Can you imagine making/painting robots with the wii remote, then battling folk online in massive arena's. It could be so much fun, again, I find myself questioning why Nintendo won't make use of this, and all the other awesome franchises they have access to. Here's hoping I get everything I hope for, but I really fear some of the big dogs I have listed above will miss out. When Nintendo are willing to make a sequel to Sin & Punishment, but none of the above (as yet), I have to wonder whats going on at HQ. :/
I wanna say F-Zero, but Nintendo would add tilt controls that would ruin the experience (A 90 degree turn with Wiimote tilt controls? No thanks!). I'd also say Starfox, but a 2D scrolling shooter Starfox game doesn't quite have a good chance of happening in the next decade. I'm gonna have to go with Kirby, but that's still iffy because we haven't seen a console Kirby game in about ten years.

Star Fox is one that just keep being screamed to come to the Wii. I can't think of a decent "flight-fight simulation" on the market right now. Actually, I can't think of ANY like that in the market right now. They don't even have to put much effort either, do a Starfox 64-expansion type game. They just absolutely HAVE to nail the controls and it would clean house.
I agree with the Pikmim 3 calls and a F-Zero update. I don't don't necessarly agree with a Pilotwings update unless they were able to cram some content for a full release, or have it with great visuals (sorta like the Ocean game). But while we're waiting for the next Zelda to come in 2011, it would be nice for an E3 surprise for Starfox like we got for New Super Mario Bros.
I would love to see a new Eternal Darkness. I hope it happens one day. Also, Star Tropics!

[19:48] Ninten: lz, your avatar is weird. [19:48] Ninten: Reggie is like..."Duh, no Mother series for you Americans!" [19:49] lz2010: That was the point Ninten ;)
Lieutenant Commander of the Lesbian Love Brigade
There can only be one, like in that foreign movie where there could only be one, and in the end there is only one dude left, because that was the point.
New Donkey Kong Country Wii! There, I even named it for you, Nintendo. The hard part is done Yoshi's Island (IR egg-aiming!) Hogan's Alley (for obvious reasons) Duck Hunt (for even more obvious reasons) Eternal Darkness (waggle to make Lovecraft spin in his grave!) Advance Wars (I don't like BW2, change it back please) Electroplankton (should be perfect Wiiware release, about 10x better than Wii Music) Nintendogs (because I don't get enough virtual affection from a small screen) WarioWare Compilation (this is probably my favorite new N franchise. I want a complete collection, not just the D.I.Y. games) Starfox (because I want my remote to ribbit at me) Pilotwings (anyone thought of some kind of stick-base for the remote or balance board potential? it could really feel like you're flying this time) Earthbound (this needs to exist. You listening, Nintendo?)
