Well these is a thread to talk about eich types of videogames you like or you don't like.
Well first of all I hate hard 2D platformers, I just hate trying to do the same thing again and again, but for the other part I like hard shooting games (not fps, real shooters) in the one I can lear from my mistakes and do the level or the boss again and again and enjoy it (like Sin & Punishment 2: Star Succesor) I also like games in the one you need to think a little bit, you know tricky games, but I hate games in the one you need to stay there 3 hours to deduce what to do next. I like games in the one you got a mission or a objective, and you try to solve it using you gaming abilitys and your head, but I don't like games where you don't know whats your objective, where you simply don't know what to do. I also like games that improve, that use the new technology to make special features to the game, the clasic-style games don't brother me, but when they are too clasic, I preffer to skip them. I also like RPG's , but sometimes find that battle system (from DQ or FF) a little too repetitive. Im also not a big fan of music games/ rythm games, movie based games or sports games, but I also don't find them bad.
So what types of videogame you like and you don't like and why?

There can only be one, like in that foreign movie where there could only be one, and in the end there is only one dude left, because that was the point.
Like: Action/Adventure, RPG, Platformers, TPS/FPAdventure, Fighting Games, Action RPG's, and certain Stealth Games. Dislike: FPS, Life Simulators, MMO's, Sports games, and RTS's.

That's an excessively broad question, so I'll answer it in an equally broad manner: I like games that give me a good feeling inside, and dislike those that give me a bad feeling.
If we're talking genres, I generally don't like Realistic sports games, pointless mini game collections, and most kinds of simulation games. Of course, there are always exceptions. When it comes to games I like, I'm very picky yet very finicky. There's no genre that I prefer over the other. I just like games that appeal to my very specific tastes on whatever day of the week it is. Right now, I like Strategy RPGs, but I can't seem to enjoy anything else. By tomorrow I may hate strategy RPGs. Who knows.
I don't really dislike a certain genre, but my favorite would have to be platforms. I love all types of platformers. Action, puzzle, 3-D, adventure, and just straight platforming. These types of games are just simple, yet fun for me, and are always creative.
I like pretty much every genre as long as the game is good I'll play it.There are some types of games I do dislike: Simulation games and realistic racers, fighters and sports games.

If I were to list everything I like, that would be a very long list, since I like most types of games. Most of all, though, I like RPGs and adventure games. I like games that put story first, and, of course, the music plays a HUGE part in games. I don't really like super-realistic racing sims. If I wanted to drive a car, I'd pick up my keys and go outside. There has to be some kind of gimmick or fantastical element to the game. FPS games are fun while it lasts, but they're not my favorite. I like to buy shooters when I just feel like passing some time between serious gaming. I don't understand how "hardcore" gaming became synonymous with FPS games. To me, they're some of the most casual games I can think of. MMORPGs. I've played Asda Story, and that's about it. They just don't appeal to me. I liked what I played, and I was obsessed for about a week, and then I just stopped. Just like that, I lost interest. There's nothing to keep you motivated, since all the MMORPG games I've heard of are never-ending.
About the only genres I generally don't like are sports sims and hyper realistic racing games, "generally" being the operative word as I tend to evaluate games on their own individual merits and I try not to put too much emphasis on superficial things such as genre. That said, there are qualities I tend to gravitate to. I love open world games of pretty much every kind. I favor artistic expression over realism, and I greatly value originality. If something breaks established video game conventions it immediately gets my attention.
