Zillion, New Zealand Story (most versions since they are all slightly different) and maybe even a Tetris game if the license isn't valid anymore (I know EA own it though).
I created a thread about post-80s arcade games coming to the VC and it was closed with direction to post on this thread instead.
I recently noticed that the Wikipedia article for upcoming North American VCA releases had been updated. Indeed it seems I could have added evidence to my prior thread by careful examination of the Japanese VC titles. Two such releases are soon being published beyond their homeland by Namco. Solvalou, first in arcades in 1991, and Emeraldia, from '93. Both VCA releases have been out in Japan for a while now. Just thought I'd post this amendment for anyone else curious and hopeful.
I am addicted to the Dragon Quest series now since I played VIII and IX. They had better add those games. I also want Wario's Woods SNES version and perhaps Yoshi's Island.
P.S. @CharlieMaster, my avatar on Backloggery is your avatar, except Kirby is holding an unfinished (U) sprite.
I'd definately like to see the Megaman NES games on the VC. I'd buy those in a heartbeat, even if they're not 3D (which they probably won't be, if they become available).
OutRun, Super Hang-On, and Afterburner are musts. Too bad we'll never see Monster Land 4, it's unplayable without a translation. Believe me, I tried...
Also, I think Tristen's referring to the Virtual Handeld.

I take it you mean you'd like to see Dragon Quest 1-4 for the NES. If so I'd like to warn you that while still addicting, they haven't aged well and you'll have to put up with a lot of annoying stuff that gets fixed in later versions. Not that they aren't good games, heck, I'd probably get them myself if they came out. I just wanted to make sure you understand what you'll be getting into if/when we do finally get them.
I wish Disney would stop creating cheapo shows targeting tweenyboppers and terrible sequels and start expressing interest in the Virtual Console. I was hoping that Epic Mickey would bring the old games to the VC, but nope.
The games to start with would be
NES Rescue Rangers
SNES The Magical Quest
GENESIS Quackshot Castle of Illusion
