I like Toads, they had a lot of peronality in Galaxy, maybe that will carry over to this game.
I agree about Galaxy, but I don't see how they'll have personality in this game. NSMB on DS had practically no story, and I've seen no evidence to the contrary about NSMB Wii, so how are we to characterize one color Toad in opposition to the other color Toad? Of course, Luigi is basically a recolored Mario, but he has a history of characterization to draw on.
Personally, I don't care. As amusing as the Toad Brigade was in Galaxy, the rest of the cutscenes were dull distractions from what I wanted to be doing, and I don't want to see that infiltrate NSMB Wii, so let the Toads be personalitiless palette swaps. It'd be cool if there were different characters with different abilities, but since they all play identically, it doesn't matter how they look. I've dreamed of simultaneous-play Mario since the NES days, so I can't complain about anything.
