NO TMNT GAMES. Ubisoft owns the rights and they have nearly destroyed the TMNT gaming franchise.
Hopefully Disney will change the tune but 50hz for me as im in europe so will prefer to play them on my modded xbox.
As for marvel games that is possible i think. But the recent arcade games (wow) will not fit in with what they have released so far. Would be a welcome change if it happened.
@outrun2sp: Actually, the console TMNT games are possible. Konami may not have the right to the TMNT games, but they were able to published the original game on the Virtual Console, so they'll probably do it again if Ubisoft starts supporting the Virtual Console.
@Clinker: What's Chakan and why do you think it's possible?
By the way, I've heard of Chakan (sha' khan) the Forever Man. Is it a good game or is it not really good? The fact that it may be overly challenging (from what I heard) has me really intrigued.
They also worked out the licencing for Turtles: Reshelled, so I'd think the games on VC is possible. No idea why they aren't working on it, really. Not that I care personally...just sayin'.
Also, it seems to me that putting Tiny Toons games on VC alongside the DVD releases would've made sense. It sucks that they didn't bother to renew the licence to do so, especially since they had the licence ongoing into the new century, but it cut off a few years ago. Lame.
My Backloggery Updated sporadically. Got my important online ID's on there, anyway. :P

Yeah, it's a great game, most of the negative criticism just stems from the difficulty level.
I wouldn't be surprised if they put up the Indiana Jones ones since the Star Wars games are also on the VC.
Eh. LucasArts releasing a Star Wars or Indiana Jones game is like Nintendo releasing a Mario game. The rights to use them are their's already so its not really a big deal.
Edgey, Gumshoe, Godot, Sissel, Larry, then Mia, Franziska, Maggie, Kay and Lynne.
I'm throwing my money at the screen but nothing happens!
It's up to the license holders. We cannot really group all the license games together because different companies hold their licenses, and some cannot be released because of multiple license holders

I would love to play Ducktales(wohoo) and it's sequel.
I hear its amazing when the famous purple stuffed worm in flap-jaw space with the tuning fork does a raw blink on hari-kiri rock!!! I NEED SCISSORS!!! 61!!!
@California Jake: I doubt we'll ever see Superman for the NES and hope we don't. Why do you think it's possible?
Oh and Sunsoft's Batman would be nice. Considering that Sunsoft seems optimistic about the Virtual Console, maybe they're working on licensing issues to bring the game to the Virtual Console.
I would love to see the other Marvel vs. Capcom (X-Men vs. Street Fighter, Marvel vs. Street Fighter, the first MvC) games come via the Virtual Console Arcade if they can fit in lieu of MvC2, especially with Tatsunoko vs. Capcom on the horizon.
And don't forget Mickey's Magical Tetris Challenge for the N64
