Topic: Natsume pro wrestling has now been officially anounced & has a North American release date of march 21st!!!

What are your thoughts?

Insta-download. Love SNES grapplers. May have to order a copy of Saturday Night Slam Masters to make March 3DS AND Super NES wrestling month (since I have no idea if/when Capcom will release it).

Announced a while ago actually (24th Feb on their Facebook) but still, good news everyone!

I'm still sad about their statment regarding Harvest Moon 64.

Just curious, what's the excitement behind this game?

It does. Kinda. Its an American release of a licensed Japanese game but without the license. The wrestlers you see are real, their names and identities have been changed to protect them.

It would probably be more fun against a human opponent. Wrestling games were never really my thing though.
A few have been okay but It's not something I enjoy for very long.

I'm waiting for Capcom's Saturday Night Slam Masters.

Another great game. I just picked this one up from a Retro store for my SNES for $15 cause I got tired of waiting for them to release it on VC.

Now if only they would release the N64 wrestling games but unfortunately there's too much red tape to go through for those.

I went to the official Capcom forum about that and I still haven't gotten a full answer

For some reason, Capcom pretends that Saturday Night Slam Masters never existed; you never see the characters outside of their series, not even in Card Fighters Clash which had a large variety of different Capcom series and obscure characters. I believe its because the character designs except Haggar were by The Fist of the North Star guy so its likely a licensing issue.

M. Haggar said "CWA" (Capcom Wrestling Association) in Marvel vs. Capcom 3 but thats the only reference I know of.
