Topic: MY LIFE AS A DARKLORD CONFIRMED FOR US JULY 20TH

i was on NA's site for my life as a dark lord http://na.square-enix.com/mlaad/ and it was written on the about section that the release date is july 20th 2009

So this and 5 Spots Party. I wonder what else will make an appearance. Carnival King, perhaps? Monkey Island? Three Muskateers? UNO?
Anyway, who will be picking this up?

I was more excited about this game before I learned just how much the DLC will be costing me. I may still pick it up after I read the review.

I will get it and the two extra levels and maybe kain monster but no other costumes or DLC

Actually the costumes aren't just for show this time, they effect certain elements of gameplay, but they are expensive mind, but once you've played it you will see how handy that content can be.

I'll get this right away and about 3000 points of DLC I just got paid and got some cash to burn though

Wow. You must really have very little confidence in yourself if you're going to download a lot of DLC. Try playing the game and only download stuff when you really get stuck and can't progress at all. Don't resort to downloading the crutches (for that is what the DLC is) when you don't need to. If you want an extra costume, just download your favorite one rather them all (you get three in a single download anyway and there are two different costume sets).

This game was out yesterday, I could have bought it but I thought My Life As A King would be better. So far I'm completely addicted.

I'm getting it for sure. Of course it might be a good while before I'll get a chance to play it with all of these reviews going on right now.

Even though I loved MLAAK, I'm not getting this. It's not really my type of game which is disappointing considering I was very excited for it when they announced it. oh well, at least I get to hang on to the points!

I will probably get it. I got My Life as King the other day and have spent 12 hours on it already lol. So thanks for posting the link the trailer was pretty cool. I see its only 1000 points anyone know how much the extra content is costing ?

I'm pretty sure I'll pick up the base game, and I'll probably give a cold shoulder to the DLC

I'll wait for the review, it doesn't sound like my cup of tea though, I found FFIV:TAY more attractive, but I have no points yet.

Yeah but you're more likely to download less content on Darklord than you would do on King. How much the total is is irrelevant.
