Nintendo has announced that both arcade versions of Dig Dug & Dig Dug II are going to be released for Japan's Virtual Console for October 20, 2009. The other VC release is Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragons and the Blade of Light.

This means that Championship Lode Runner will be released in Japan's VC on October 27, 2009.

Lucky Japanese. Too bad I already have them both on Namco Museum Battle Collection. They're both great games. Not interested in the others though.

I hope they translate the Fire Emblem games, then give them to us for a buck extra.
