I'm not too serious with my IGN cheapshot either. Even though I don't visit that site any longer because it seems to offer very little for Wii owners, they still do a good job most of the time and I give their review scores more credit than many other professional outlets.
My guess for the surprise bonus: a remake of the World 1-1 through 1-4 from Super Mario Bros, all using the 2D view from SMG's game engine. It's not going to happen, but a guy can dream right?

Don't really care. I'm almost certain to pick this one up, but there's not a chance in hell I'm going to bother with all 120 stars.
Thats a shame, I just got all 120 stars with Mario, and the second half of the game with all the Prankster comics was the best part. I am now playing as Luigi...gonna try and get the 120 with him by next weekend, but I am not sure if I can do it.

Dudes: just got word of the reward at the end of Mario Galaxy 2.
Evidently, if you finish with all 120 stars, all of the Goombas are replaced by Corbie, and instead of jumping on them, you have to challenge each one to a shmup high score competition.
You get to slay chickens instead of collecting another 120 stars.
