Topic: If DSi Ware games are transferable to 3DS, then will Wii VC be transferable to next console?

Anyone thinks that the VC games from Wii will be transferable to the next Nintendo console since DSi Ware games are transferable to the 3DS?

Who knows? Maybe. I doubt it. I wish it was so though.

I would guess theey will be. If Nintendo found a way that they can transer DSi downloads I don't see why that solution can't be applied to the Wii and its successor.

Thats what I like to think to. But they won't tell us anything until just before the successor to the Wii is released anyway.

I'm gonna guess and say most likely with some exceptions since that is what is going on with the DSi to 3DS transfer, not 100% games will be transferred. Hopefully, they're the games more to do with specific hardware differences (Looksley's Lineup) or free games/apps (Flipnote) if they can't do every game.

I have a few questions I find to be important now that the content transfer from DSi to 3DS has been answered.
What is the policy on content purchased for the 3DS?
Specifically,
Will I be able to transfer anything I buy on 3DS to the eventual 3DS Lite, 3DS XL or only to the possible successor to the 3DS line? Basically, has Nintendo fixed their anti-consumer transfer policy for good?

Those are questions I truly want to know the answers to and that will be what determines when I will buy a 3DS more than anything.

They really should be, but with Nintendo's track record, I'm a little doubtful. It really does seem like common sense though.

it's a safe bet. they've gotten an earful over the past 4 years about all the limitations on the VC and they're already overdue for a change in the policy.
