They get a lot of licenses to make Mobile games of successful console games that would probably have been made by the original developers had they the time or could be bothered to do so. I mean look at all the UBisoft games they make mobile versions of. Im sure that if Ubisoft had wanted to make wiiware versions of some of their games they probably would have done so. Saying that though there would be nothing to stop Gameloft approaching the original owners of the licence and saying "look if your not bothered putting it on wiiware could we have a go"

i think Gameloft makes a crapload of money outta these games. i mean...they don't have to be good. most people just like: "uh, oh! a cool raching game! gonna load that!" and cellphone games a waaaay overpriced....at least here in germany.
@Neo - that's the craziest thing about Gameloft. For what they do, they games don't really need to be that good....yet they are, consistently. HAlf of my iPhone, in terms of paid apps, consists of Gameloft games and they're the only ones I play. One of the most successfully-enacted business plans in recent memory...I mean tell me you'd even heard of Gameloft a couple years ago and I'll call you a liar....now they're the first search result on the app store as soon as you type the letter 'G'.
