I need HELP. I just beat the main story in FF4 TAY and started Rydia's tale. But when I saved I by accidentally overwritten the save data of my original game. Is there anyway that I can get it back. Does it matter if I have the save file or not for the final chapter.
I hate to be the one to break it to you but you will need to start again if you want to play the second half of the main quest when it's released. I once had a friend save over my FFVII file when I was a good 30-50 hours into the game so I can totally symapthise with your situation.
You can do them in any order, just remember to create a separate save file for each chapter. Personally I would probably play the side quests then come back to the main quest later since you've already played through it once.
Yeah I can't see any way it still knows you beat the first half of the main quest if the Complete file is gone....I guess you should wait until the final chapter comes out and see if maybe there's like a System File save data thing that the game-complete data is saved onto (hence, not necessitating a replay) but I doubt it....Gotta read carefully before deciding to overwrite!
