Also, can someone please tell me the difference between LCD and LED? Is LED a type of display like Plasma, or is it just a different form of lighting?
LED is just a different type of light to light up the display. Think of it as this: it is an enhanced version of an LCD TV. For some reason, TV manufacturers market LED-backlit LCD TVs as if they are the whole new thing; they leave out "LCD" on those names. Hope that helps u_u
EDIT: On the other hand, OLED displays (i.e. PS Vita display) are a different type of display. Lastly, I read of implementing LED lights in plasma displays. That sounds interesting, but from the absence of any LED plasma displays, it may not be possible to do.
LOL. Stuff? You've posted that how many times now? Anyways, LED is lCD with a different type of back light. with LED you can achieve greater black levels. Just stay away from the edge lit LED's. Plasma's are still considered the best regarding PQ and blah blah. Anyways, all of this TV talk is making my Krang brain melt....I need a drink, better yet I need a naked Kelly Kapowski pronto!.
Krang! That brings back memories of those rockin' Ninja Turtles from the late 1980's & early 1990's.
Are any of the old Konami Ninja Turtles games on the Wii VC?
Don't play me for a Freddy Krueger fool, you know that the original TMNT for the NES is on the Wii's VC. .....Right? If not, than go right now and enjoy the mega mediocrity hehe. At least it's got a great soundtrack. lol
True, the soundtrack is great. I still hum the boss music and the title themes from time to time. The controls were terrible, the graphics worse than Castlevania 1, but it was still a fun game (except for that one water level where you had to disable the bombs).
I've tried to get used to the widescreen, but it just desn't hack it for me and i always switch back to the ultra crisp, clear and sharp and better moving 'motion wise' Fullscreen... this difference seems more apperant on LCD's though.
Must be just an LCD thing... I have a Samsung 56" DLP TV and Wii games in Widescreen look fine, I don't see any improvement when switching to Fullscreen. Are you using the component cables? (I am)
