Topic: Do the codes for VC games bought with coins at Club Nintendo USA expire once emailed?

Like if purchase the game code with my coins but never use the code, could I just save them for the wii u?

At this point there is no guarantee that VC games will be transferable from the Wii to Wii U. So basically if I were you I would just get the game and use it on my Wii otherwise just save the coins for something else.
