Just what the title says. I can't decide. I don't really want either of them. I was hoping something good would be the prize. Japan got a famicom style wiimote or a new version of balloon fight featuring tingle. At least the calender looks cool, i guess platinum members get that too. Here's the image:
1. I never liked punch out because it is overly basic and became boring after one play through. But supposedly the new one is more fleshed out? or 2. Looks cool, but what would i do with it? Not going to wear it, and cant sell it because based on ebay prices for mario hats now I'd get next to nothing.

Deciding from these two prizes are tough. I went with the game but, judging from the info I think you probably be better of getting the hat sell it and buy whatever you want with the money.

Yeah... I'm thinking i will get the hat. From what i've seen around the web, it seems stupid of nintendo to not release this extra punch out level for a few bucks down the line anyway. Plus, i find punch out original boring, so it seems like the good choice. I need to dig out my mario kart plastic rotating race track thing, and zelda metal emulet... and my stumpy camp hyrule 2004ish winning prize! (never could figure out what to do with that). So I guess I can just display these all in my room together, lol. Ooh I also have mario golf wristbands if i can find them.

I think for the majority of people, the Mario hat is the better choice. Collectible merchandise and all that. For Punch-Out!! fans, though, the Doc Louis fight is brilliant. Seeing as you're not a Punch-Out!! fan, I think you made the right choice.

its just the fact that i could get it, but if i didnt i could never possibly ever get it again. :/ (Unless i downloaded it illegally, but it seems like modifying the wii to play burned games, etc would be a pain, plus it bricks the console upon updates.)

I got the Punch Out prize, I have been a huge Punch Out fan since I got Mike Tyson's Punch Out for my birthday many years ago. I wonder how long it will take to get our prizes?
