I'm really looking fwd. to playing Double Dragon 2 (Nes's Version) as well as Sega Master System's "The Ninja." I was dissappointed to see Japan get the arcade versions of Shinobi and Ninja Gaiden and the U.S., of course, is left out in the cold. Does anyone have any inside as to when or if these games will hit the Virtual Console? Thanks

No word on either one of those. It's been over a year since Double Dragon was released, so I'm hoping we'll finally get the second one before years end...
Tecmo and Sega seem to be pretty good about getting the worldwide release thing (unlike Namco -- what's up with that?), so I should think in the next month or two, though there's still Golden Axe on the VCA as well...
Shinobi is rated on the ESRB under Wii. I would bet its the arcade version but may be the SMS version. No word on the Ninja, but I bet it would see a release down the road.
Thanks for the info. The Ninja is/was an overlooked game; simple little ninja side/up scrolling with little shurikans. I also think Black Belt would be a little gem from Sega Master System to hit the VC.
And yes...DD2 (Nes Version) would be enjoyed by all. One of the best co-op to grace a console.

They made 3 arcade DD games, but really the DD2 Nes version is so much more fun than the arcade. However, it would be nice to have the actual original first DD game for the VCA.
