You can share some info to help Nintendo with future products but exactly what info is being send to Nintendo ?
Is it games you play, how much have played, how long ?

They can technically see everything you're doing if they wanted to. Honestly, there's not really much info they can gather anyway. The only places that could ever hold any REAL private information is your PC or the Internet Browser(because data within those will vary more).
People are always paranoid that Microsoft will or has spied on them with Kinect, but basically any device can do that.
All they can do is what you said, possibility determine what your console is hooked up to, how you're playing, maybe other things, but it's not really a big deal unless you're doing something illegal.
They might see how often you use Miiverse or how many friends you have, but I don't really see why that any of that info would really matter personally to anyone inside of a company.
No, it's not that .. I don't care because you can choose for the option and I like to give them feedback or even help with future products. I was just asking myself for maybe creditcard info ? But hey I don't think they'll be all like Snowden The internet doens't matter, but that is indeed one of the things they could be observing .. the internet history ..

I don't think they care about your search history. You can bet that other people are looking at that, and they do, but I highly doubt Nintendo is covering that. More likely they're collecting information about system crashes with automated sending of bug reports etc. So they can make the system run better. They're also probably collecting information about your usage history and possibly even data about your settings. So they'll know which games people tend to play the most and what games you enjoy. So they can market their games better.
As for MiiVerse well that's obvious. Of course they know what you post on MiiVerse, they created MiiVerse. Especially if it's public and most probably if it's private they'll know what you're posting about. Same goes with anything posted online.
Perhaps Miyamoto and Iwata keep a tab on where I died excessively in Luigi U and laugh at how rubbish I am. I bet they even send screen shots to Reggie about it.
Isn't it obvious that Falco Lombardi is actually a parrot?
use club nintendo to tell them stuff i do it when i do serveys also if you want a game and your desperate and want to piss off people spam the japanese miiverse page of the game you want....it worked for earth bound
