So, outside of Skylanders: Trap Team,.........,it looks like both companies are done with the Wii U. COD: Ghosts has yet to be announced for the system, despite the fact that it's coming to all Sony and Microsoft current and last gen home consoles.......same goes for the Ubi franchises, Far Cry 4 and Assassins Creed. It's really a bummer to see 4 separate consoles supported, minus the PC, and have the Wii U all but forgotten. That's pretty much it as far as the last of the large western development / publishing companies giving support.
Well to be honest none of the Call of Duties were announced till just a couple months before launch. Watch Dogs is still coming (fingers crossed) but yeah it's looking like the end here!

If I was only ever able to have Monster Hunter and EO games in the future, I would be a happy man.
I still think both will release titles for the Wii U if they think the product is attractive enough to the Wii U's user base (like Child of Light and Skylanders), but it's sad to see all mature titles vanish from the console, variety is the spice of life.
Heh, at this point the whole of the 3rd party support may be about gone. Unless something awesome happens to reel it back in or have Nintendo and it's other party exclusives and kickstarter projects and the indies to makes us not miss 'em like the 3ds.
I'm holding off all judgement till after E3 since anything can happen at that event.

These software droughts arent anything to yawn about. They kind of suck(at least for me). I'm not expecting Ubi to port their AAA games onto the Wii U but I hope they continue to put their mid-tier and smaller projects like Rayman and Child of the Light on the Wii U.
activision will probably continue putting Spiderman games on the Wii U if that makes you feel better plus Ubisoft will surely put any future Rayman games they make on the Wii U

I agree, these droughts and the lack of third party support is pretty horrid (and no, although some indies can be cool, they don't fill all of the gaps, especially considering most of the higher tier indies are on the PC or PS4), I would buy the Nintendo equivalent of the Neo Geo, but thus far Nintendo has failed to keep up with the demand for software.

Rayman is gong to go on a Sabbatical for a long time me feels.

What's so mature about a game like Far Cry 4 where the cover shows a guy petting the head of another guy like hes a dog? If that's what passes for a mature AAA title now a days than I'm glad the Wii U is a haven from that support of immaturity.
I'm up to 23 games now for my Wii u, if people think their is a software drought maybe they just don't like the available games, or they're too focused on the sorts of games Sony and Microsoft specialize in and Nintendo consoles are better off without.

Why is that? I know Origins and Legends didn't sell off the charts, but I assume they did moderately well, and it's a nice boost for Ubi's critical claim......

Seriously, I love Nintendo developed games, but some, not all, Nintendo fanboys need to stop ruling out anything and everything with M ratings, your missing out on some incredible titles.
Really, it's no different than being a dudebro gamer and claiming Every Nintendo title is just for the kiddos.
