Topic: Splatoon - OT

i had a match in depo were the entire enemy team decided to set up camp in the left side of the map, i was on the right so i quielty got on the tower and they all had run around the long way to catch up to me XD

@DiscoGentleman: I would really like voice chat in the next update, at least for Squad Battles. Would be easier than having to type in running commentary here in the thread

@DiscoGentleman: I've found randoms generally aren't great when it comes to objective based game types, noticed they don't really understand Splat Zones either. Rainmaker's fine though but that makes sense as you can do well just by treating it as a typical "Team Deathmatch" mode.

And that's why I'm no chemist.

Why we're talking about plastic? Well we're discussing Splatoon amiibo, which, if you can't tell, I'm a huge fan of

So why are we talking about MK and Smash in the Splatoon forum? I would be up for Mario Kart though (letting my brother borrow my NA Wii U so I can't play smash usually).

Splatoon is also fine as well.

I dunno, I assume it's because the Splatoon thread is the most active out of the three or something. But yeah, we should really use each game's respective thread if anyone is doing game sessions that isn't related to Splatoon to avoid confusion.

Is it me or does Bluefin Depot get A LOT of play lately?

@DiscoGentleman I'm in the same boat... I got up to A+ rank, 98 points this afternoon, and fell all the way back down to 52 points...

Generally, when you're about to rank up, you get put on a team with 3A+s and an A against 3Ss and an A+... At least I still do ok, within the parameters of quick-spawn rollers. (About 12 kills, about 12 deaths.)

Also, I've just worked out the school jumper has a high chance of quick super jump. I might try it out, as I have plenty of Re-rolls.

They have their own threads for a reason though.

Or maybe make a stickied thread called "Wii U Online Multiplayer -come join" or something like that !

So I made an alt (as my Wii U has been reluctant to work with my router all of a sudden) and had a hilarious match where two teammates dc'd and my remaining was useless so I was playing 1v4, still ended up winning with 34/6 KD by wiping their entire team out with bomb rush 4 times.

@Kinan: I have. Of the two stages, I think I've won more in Bluefin Depot. It's Port Mackerel that's always the one causing issues for me no matter what the Ranked mode is. Sorry to hear your bad luck, once you get above B rank though, players are typically more competent. Keep at it.

On a side note, I managed to get to Rank A using today's Rainmaker session. Quite a few up'n'downs today...

@DreamyViridi you're still hot on my heels... I'm determined to reach S rank by the end of the week though...

Heh, kidding. That won't happen, although I'd love to get to S before I'm Level 30; that's my general goal for the game right now. Good luck getting to the elusive Rank S!
