@Blue_Blur, nice to get randomly matched with you in Turf War just now! I was Deevee — great games. I loved that you scored 1,138 on the first round to my 1,137 (you're far better at splatting than I, though — my downfall in Splatoon is one-on-one firefights). Too bad we got decimated the last match, but it looks like we had a disconnect or a non-player on the team (a zero-pointer). Anyway, great to see you out there on the turf!
@VelvetElvis: Those game were fun! I checked to see if any of my friends were playing turf wars, and your Mii appeared as joinable, so I decided to join your lobby! I didn't notice the score between me and you was that close on the first round; that's pretty cool actually - shows great teamwork. Thanks for the kind words; you were really good, too! We'll have to play again sometime, either in some more turf wars or some squad battles!

As much as I hate to say it, in most of the previous Splatfests, the least popular team ends up winning. They keep changing the Splatfest formula (determining the number for the multiplier of the points). Right now the multiplier is X6, so the least popular team has a very good chance of winning. Hope Team Pizza still wins, though!
@LztheQuack: I'm sure I'll pop in — I can't resist a good Splatfest, and I do live in the land of In-N-out Burger, so I'd be remiss not to represent. Hope to see you there!
@Blue_Blur: Ah, I didn't even know you could do that. Forgive my ignorance — very few of my real-life friends have the Wii U (and none of them play Splatoon), so the Friend List is like uncharted territory for me. Now that I'm starting to get to know the Nintendo Life community, I might add a few more familiar (in the online sort of way) faces. And yes, would love to play again — I'll definitely be playing some Tower Control this evening.

Speaking of: @blue_blur , it was fun playing with you the other day, too! I noticed you left a match, then I left to change gear and tried to rejoin you, but then you had left, but must have tried to rejoin me the match earlier, because I got matched up with all the same randos.
Yeah, I left a match to go reroll my Blue Sailor Suit. I tried to rejoin afterwards, and got the same group, too. Those matches were really fun!

And totally agreed — I like Tower Control best, too, followed by Rainmaker. Splat Zones was a cruel beast to me today.

@Megumi The Splatoon Youtube community is great albeit small. When i stream all my regular viewers tune in ^~ I think because usually only 1 or 2 people are streaming Splatoon at any given moment.

I had the exact same problem with my Hauppauge. It would never detect my Youtube account no matter how many times I put it in, and when I tried streaming on Twitch, the Stream ran at like 2fps.
