Topic: Splatoon - OT

Did anyone watch Inkstorm II yesterday? http://www.twitch.tv/EndGameTV1

At the risk of making it overplayed, I have to admit I'm really digging the Hydra Splatling, strictly in a Tower Control support position. Used it last night for a good many matches — my team won the majority of battles, and we never suffered a knockout. If you hang back and take the high ground with that thing, you can virtually guarantee that the tower never docks at your home base.

@VelvetElvis: Oooohhh, maybe I'll try that next tower control. I've never really liked tower control but that's because I can't figure out an interesting strategy for it (that doesn't involve subs or specials). But the hydra could change things.

@shani: Sorry that the servers are still down. I'm not going to be able to play when they come up, sorry. That hour was my free hour! lol I wish you luck in ranked if you still play, though!

@Blue_Blur: Oh, actually they're up again since 3AM CET/ 6 PM PT. I thought I would play until you're ready lol.

@Jorjaymad-6715 I decided to take a look at it since I hadn't actually watched a Splatoon tournament yet. It looked pretty interesting and I felt I wouldn't stand a chance against any of them ha ha. I only watched a little bit, Vito was surprised to see some Custom 3Ks used over the normal one. I prefer the regular one since you don't have to wait before you can have something useful for defending up close.

@OorWullie: If you're up for a couple hour run let me know. I'm ready at any time. Need to be done in about 2.5 hours time from now though.

@Spoony_Tech: Sounds good to me.I'll turn it on now and open a room but give me 10 minutes or so to start.

it was my first look at a tournament as well, found it was very entertaining although it put into perspective just how bad I play! Haha

@OorWullie: I can't seem to find it. May need to wait till the kids get home and ask. Join up with someone else if you can.

@OorWullie: It's ok, it just wasn't our day anyways. I like port makeral but I do struggle in Rainmaker.

@Spoony_Tech: I could try reconnecting in the settings,might help.I'm not a fan of RM on PM at all,it's hard to come back when they get in front.
