Not too long ago we got eShop, but unless you have a credit card can't use. They missing out on about 95% of the market over here because they haven't made eShop cards/vouchers available here.
Do you also have problems like this in your country where the market simply isn't taken full advantage of?
I think it was like a year after the eShop came out for 3DS in NA before we got the cards in Canada, so it might just take some time for them to implement it.
Here's a better idea: Someone tell Nintendo we need eShop cards in south america. You SAID you're in charge of that part of the world, Reggie, I can't even buy freaking Phoenix Wright 4 because credit cards are impossible to get here!
So yeah, I have the same problem, UpdateNightmare.

You know you can contact them yourselves, right?
(that's the site for North and South America. I don't know which branch is responsible for Africa. Nintendo of Europe, maybe?)

Nintendo of Africa
In all seriousness, is there even an African branch?
Will try that costumer service thing. Thanks, Mike.

It's like, I just love a cowboy
You know
I'm just like, I just, I know, it's bad
But I'm just like
Can I just like, hang off the back of your horse
And can you go a little faster?!
You can't just walk into walmart here and buy a prepaid credit card. We have pretty strict credit laws here.
Are you saying that only 5/100 Wii U owners have credit cards? That seems pretty hard to believe
Maybe you can ask a friend or relative to pay? Then just pay them with real money. That's what I do sometimes.
In order to obtain a credit card, you need to make a certain amount of money per month, this eliminates most people under the age of 18 years and a lot of young adults still in universaty. Ask a relative? Well everyone in my family either hates video games or have extreme paranoia when it comes to entering your credit card details on the internet anything other than internet banking.
We only recently got the like of paypal, and even for that a credit card is required. So no EFT into the account.
If it was possible to make those nintendo eShop cards dual purpose, something like 20 pounds = R250 that would work pretty well here. Since most already set their region to UK or SA
