I'll go slightly with Zelda. Hard to say. I'm pretty pumped for both.

You're misinterpreting the premise.

And Zelda U, obviously, because we haven't had a good Zelda game since 2006 with Twilight Princess and Okami. In comparison Xenoblade will inevitably play worse than Monster Hunter 4 because of loose hit boxes and auto attack taking all of the fun out of the combat. That and I prefer Monster Hunter's style of RPG progression, equipment and skill-based, to Xenoblade's emphasis on leveling, stats, and numbers.

Generally I prefer games where things are very physical and tangible, and Zelda is that, be it combat or puzzles (like blowing up a boulder or burning some vines).

Neither, I'd choose more Hyrule Warriors DLC instead!

XCX easily as I no that game would entertain me several times longer making the wait for Zelda easier then the other way round.

Xenoblade X!!!!!! I'm hyped for Zelda U, too but XCX is gonna be amazing.

Xenoblade X, easily. More playtime, more interest. Also, a good story can make or break a game, and Zelda simply doesn't have intriguing stories (more like excuse plots you can see coming a mile away).
@Haru17 Seems like you have yet to experience G-Rank marathon missions. More math than you could possibly wish for - if you want to finish those, that is.

Oh, I'm sorry, I couldn't read your post but for all of the number's popping out of Xenoblade's combat like so many numerical particle effects, obfuscating my view of it =P
