No Shooter....No Action-Adventure......A Scifi-Third-Person-Shooter! That would be perfect for the Star Fox-Franchise! In the game will then be to that you can explore different planets and before a flying stage with the classic shooter level with the Arwing.There are enemies on the planets you can zap with a blaster and the characters wearing a armor (similar to Isaac Clarke or Ratchet).You can play Fox,Krystal,Falco,Slippy and Peppy.The name of the game will be Star Fox: Shoot-Out.It would be something new and a experiment of Nintendo as it arrives at the fans.How do you like this idea?

I'd say Adventures was more of a Zelda clone, I think what they are talking about is something more akin to Battlefront or Gears of War but keeping the Arwing bits from Adventures.

I think Star Fox is fine as a shoot 'em up and there's plenty of space to expand the game, I'd like to see the game expand so it's all range mode as the norm but without the poor design choices of Zero.
In terms of shooters Splatoon has given me a Mario style platform shooter itch for more and I'd just like another Prime game.
It really seems the popular thing to do. Just make any so called "new IP" and make it a 3rd person shooter and you're all set.
Just tagging "3rd person shooter" to any existing franchise really sounds like you're running out of ideas.

Why does Star Fox need something? It's not a slam dunk franchise like Pokemon or Mario when they can spin off easily or is popular enough to sell on name alone.
Besides there just was a spin off with Guard which was fantastic.
I just want a SF64-like game without any forced BS like Zero, or at least more polished Assault and have it be an actual sequel instead of another bloody SF64 remake
Anyway, if I can hijack this thread, if you were to ask me, I think taking a sort of Rogue Squadron or especially the Xbox Crimson Skies game sort of approach would work. Basically something where between on-rail levels there's some overworld areas that you can explore and do missions in and stuff. Something large enough where you can really explore but not to the point that it isn't well crafted.
