Not quite sure what the rules are for promoting streams so I'll keep that to a minimum. But anyways I'm looking for levels to play live. Who's got some cool levels to check out? I'm not a huge fan of kaizo difficulty courses, but skill challenges with wall jumping and/or spin jumping is cool. I'm more into traditional Mario stages though.

I stream Mario Maker and other Nintendo games! Check out my stream if you'd like to see me play your levels live!

I would have liked to add check points in my levels but I have over 20 stars on some of them and don't want to delete them to remake them with check points. I know you keep your stars but I don't want to lose the stats.

@Rexcalibr: You don't have to delete them. I've made 2 remakes of my levels but I kept the original versions too. Although I wish there was an option so you could keep your levels online but without being playable.

@Kinan: Well you could try Bowser's Sky Prison shown in message above your message, which is another one of those levels of mine, which require some finicky moves.

And I just found out Alex from NL played one of my puzzle levels: https://youtu.be/w9fKy9JJWfk?t=688
He actually beat it. Well it is one my easier puzzle levels.

@Kinan: I'll be able to watch the stream! I'd love to see you playing my lastest course

It's sort of easy, so you'll probably beat it in the first try.

@Kinan: You're taking suggestions? How about this? It's my most recent one and I'm taking a break from making levels since I'm still at the 10 upload limit...

Dusted off the Wii U to give this a try. It's awesome! I just can't fight that 2D Mario urge. I don't know how much I'll use it to actually make my own levels, but I'm having a blast playing through other people's levels (and the boxed-in ones, but those are pretty easy).

I've basically made almost all of my courses considerably easier because no one was playing (and especially clearing) them. It occurred to me that the only way people would see those courses was if I promoted them really hard (too lazy for that) or when people come across them in Expert 100 Mario Challenge. Who plays that though? It isn't fun! In looking to see how many expert clears people have, I think I've only seen one person with more than 1-3, most have 0 like me. The one person I have found who has lots of Expert clears is @Dazran303 and I have no idea how he does it. So the courses just weren't getting played but now that I made them easier, they are getting a lot more plays and accruing stars faster. Anyway, wondering if anyone else has the same experience or feels the same way.

On the other side of that, I've also grown weary of courses that take me numerous attempts. Some of them are really fantastic. But thanks to this thread and some other factors, I now have like 30 people favorited and they all make lots of great courses. I just don't have time to spend an hour on a single course when there's an infinite number. Anyone else feeling this as well?

@Kinan: I'd love to see how other people play my courses! It's never, ever the way I do when I am testing them out. Please notify me if you do though because, well, otherwise I won't know. I have four called Watch For Shooting Stars! which are all versions of the same course but they become substantially different the further you get into them. They also help exemplify some of the differences between the generations but mostly they are just fun and kind of wacky. You might consider the beginning of this post as a bit of fair warning about the lack of difficulty with many of my courses.

@AdamLikesNintend: I think I know what you mean...
Only my first level seems to get plays and the rare star because it's easy. The rest are often ignored since apparently, Mario Maker players are a bunch of amateurs who won't play anything beyond World 1 difficulty... unless the level's made by someone internet-famous.

@Kinan: And even then your levels will be played by people that just got the game and they don't even know why or how to star a level. It's pretty frustrating if you put a lot of effort on your levels.

I like really hard courses as long add they don't have doors that drop you in a hole, or invisible blocks over a hole that make you fall in, or instant death as soon as the level starts and other troll crap like that. When I'm playing Mario challenge I skip hard levels even if they are good ones though because I don't want to use up all of my lives. I'm sure that's what most people probably do and it is why even good levels that are hard don't get stars. If it's a really good level I will go back and play it in my "played courses" section so I don't have to worry about lives and then star it.

I usually play courses on the Mario 100 Challenge since there's still costumes left for me to unlock. I don't want to waste lives, so I'll quickly skip levels that are too difficult. However, I still love playing difficult levels and I'll usually try to complete them if I'm not doing Mario 100 Challenge. As long as a level isn't awful or unfair, I try to remember to give them a star before I skip them.
