@dizzy_boy: Yeah, that's actually pretty useful. I didn't know how to change the sounds you make with the note blocks until I downloaded one of those automatic musical levels. Turns out you can place different objects above the note blocks and change the instrument that plays.
Here is my latest level. It's fairly challenging if I say so myself. It got a lot of jumps that must be done by using the star power. Also the timer on the level is short, so there is little time to mess up.
I would love it if you guys tried it out and gave me some feedback!

I couldn't figure out how to get past the first part of the stage in the Wario Golf one. I like character themed stages but the timing seems like it has to be exact so I had to give up.
Also, for other posters, it would benefit you more to post one, or just a few, levels at a time. If you post six or seven in one post, people won't play all of them.
@Tamara: I went through your levels Tamara. Overall the theming is very nice and the design is tight and satisfying. Also, relevant and reasonable use of the sound, which should be noted, because it's very rare.
here's what I thought about them:
Peach's night out: super fun theming, and good pacing, the level put a smile on my face all run long. the incinerator part was a bit tough but the backtracking to the boots didn't feel boring, thanks to good theming.
Puzzle mystery tower: felt a bit tedious. I wasn't always sure of the point of what I was doing and I gave up. That level really didn't tick with me, as I didn't get the purpose of it.
Peach's big Break: I want to love it because each part is well made. But the platforming ruins the puzzlesolving and vice-versa. Each time you're having fun with one part, the other gets in the way. I understand this puzzle, but that jump I have to try several times annoys me. I'm having fun with these jumps, but now there is this puzzle that slows me down. When yo'ure at the third run through the level, what was first a rollecoaster becomes a tedium. And finally I was lost when I got the feather boots, and didn't find the way to the end. The P-block puzzles are great. But maybe you should give the player more room (the level felt a bit claustrophobic at times), and ease up a bit on the platforming.
Boos can't jump: Just looking at the boos patterns felt like a chore to me and I gave up very fast on the first screen.
Supermario Groundhog day: That was fun with great theming. I think i was lucky and cleared it faster than intended, but it fun nonetheless.
Tojo's skyworld: isn't on your list here (is it made by someone else?) but it felt amazing.that was some of the best platforming i've done. The timing are great and satisfying. I loved it.
Tojo's factory of death on the other hand I gave up almost instantly. I must be dumb, because I was stuck on the second screen witht eh wall of cannonballs. Maybe I missed something cause I'm tired. I might try it again later.
Samus' fitness training was a lot of fun. The airship level fit zero suit samus so well. good theming and great rythm to this autoscroll.
I'll be following your levels from now on, I like your designs.
Don't hesitate to take a look at my latest levels (link in my signature). I would like your opinion on them. I make three types of levels mainly:
short platforming ones with a reasonable challenge
longer, exploration based, heavily themed ones
super short, slightly masochistic levels, but with no troll or traps.
Woah! Hi everyone! I've made a few levels myself, if anyone would like to play them I'd love to hear your feedback
Spinies hate bibbinz (6db6-0000-0063-1a1b)
Bibbalonia (9526-0000-005D-74F8)
Also the names are dumb Haha, but yeah I just wanted to see what you guys thought of them, and if u like those I have a few other levels that I made on my profile.
EDIT: Whoops, looks like the embeds weren't working right. Sorry 'bout that.
Hey all, thought I'd stop lurking and finally post some of my SMM levels. Well, here they are!:
(Puzzle Park: EA7A-0000-0033-BD80)
This was the first level I made during the weekend the game launched. While I myself loved making it, I do have to admit it's pretty rough. Maybe I'll redo it sometime now that I'm (hopefully) a little more skilled.
(Wario's Great Coin Caper: 08CA-0000-0044-FEE5)
This one was a blast to work on, and also quite challenging. As I got further into building it, I exceeded the block placement limit, so some parts I had to change completely so that I could finish the level. Thankfully, it was only the cosmetic stuff I had to delete.
(Head in the Clouds: D74E-0000-0053-1CD2)
This is probably the level I'm the proudest of; I had tons of fun working on it, with many of the obstacles in here based off of stuff I saw in trailers for the game and in other peoples levels I've played that inspired me.
I also got one other level in the works, but it's not quite finished yet. It's still in that tweaking phase where I'm making sure things are still challenging, but only the fun kind of challenging; not the kind of challenging that just makes you feel frustrated. I'll be sure to post it when it's done, though!
@DanoLefourbe: Wow! Thanks for playing!
Tojo's courses are made by my friend! I helped with the factory, it was made to be hard because we were challenging each other :x
Peach's Night Out probably needs to be fixed. There is a hidden star power that is supposed to be used to get through the fire. I bet jumping through the flames with pretty tedious...
I really like to make puzzle maps~ ^^ Thanks for the plays and comments! I will return the favor by playing some of yours after I finish my next course, which will be tonight.
@Tamara: Ahah ok, I had to try like 5 or 6 time to get through the fire, the timing is very tight and I think you have to abuse the few frames when the fire is visible but doesn't have a hitbox XD
Mario' costume party was really fun. A few themes seem a bit random and toad's maze was meh, but otherwise really fun to play
Link and firend's adventure felt good. No great risk of dying because of the costumes (like mario's costume party), but it's a nice walk through the level
Rosalina's journey didn't tick with me. no freaking idea why. I gave up early as I wasn't into it, but I could not tell you if anything's wrong or not with the course.
Fire run was fun all the way, with some real nice platforming.
Fire and Ice was even better, more challenging than your other levels I played but fair
Boo surprise was good. The trapped door was a bit trolly, but it was more fun than frustrating since the level is rather short. I like the way you can skip a few short sections if you're smart enough. Like jumping to the lower platform from the rails to avoid the boos. Fair and fun.
@DanoLefourbe: Thank you for playing my courses c:
Yeah I know Toads maze was a bit meh xD I really regret not doing more with it now lol. It was just a fun idea I had to have all the costumes and Halloween around the corner so was a quicky. I might revise and upload a 2.0 version just for fun c:
both that and Link and friends adventure were purely just made as fun easy courses. I love the costumes and making levels from them.
glad you enjoyed the rest though aside from Rosalina's journey =o
hmm I don't think anyone has found the secret in boo level yet xD I wonder if I made it too hard to find lol.
