OK thanks for the help, got it figured out.

I have only made one level so far...I mostly play them. Check it out. My son likes it.

It is a bit challenging

ALSO:

I have to say I love skinny mario. I played a level where he attacks an airship and it was challening and very good but my son skippped it before I could star it or follow the creator.

How do you unlock skinny mushrooms by the way?

I played levels where the power is normally a regular mushroom but sometimes it would randomly be a skinny mushroom. What is the deal with that?

@DarthNocturnal: thanks for the feedback, the Slippy level was one of the first levels made so I will have to go back and work on it sometime as I am already working on multiple unfinished levels

I was thinking of making a level based some olympic event. The long jump, high jump and hurdles should work. Anybody who want's to make their own variation is welcome. Gotta get these ideas out there

So lets see. The top rated level is an automatic level?

How disappointing. That encourages even MORE automatic levels.

Out of the 8 levels in the 100 mario challenge, one time 7 of them were automatic levels.

I came here to play a game, not to watch the game play itself.

Automatic levels are not cool. The only ones that are great are those SMW ROM hacks that make a music.

@Gridatttack: 100% agree with you.

The saddest part about the automatic levels being the most top rated is that actual GOOD creators with amazing levels will never get noticed. Like you said, I want to play the game, not watch the game play for me! Let's hope these automatic level will die out soon, so better levels can take the top spots.

So next question: How do you make a miiverse post of your level (for the screenshot)

The post is made if you upload the level, then add the link to your post containing the screenshot to the NL SMM page(https://www.nintendolife.com/super-mario-maker) and it'll add it automatically.

This was the easy part, but how do we actually embed it into our forum posts?

Automatic levels are only good when they have other music edit in, like in the ROM hacks.

@blaisedinsd you need to beat all of the 10 mario challenge levels which unlocks the Nintendo World Championship 2015 levels. You then need to beat those to get the skinny mushroom.

That's almost even easier, just post the link to your level page(for example: https://www.nintendolife.com/super-mario-maker/levels/37BA-000... and be sure to leave an empty line above and below the link in your post.

Here is my newest level:

Obviously, it's a Mario Kart amiibo level. Drive Fast. Jump well. Enjoy!

(And now that that is officially done, I can get back to playing and starring the levels of people here on the forum)

The only thing that does bother me in this game is that most of the players aren't really bothered to try to finish a challenging level. Most of my levels have a really low completion ratio. It's probably also why the automatic ones are so popular. I personally am not against these sort of levels though. The users that have created these levels have sometimes done some really outstanding job of creating a visual spectacle.

@Maxoxpower: oh hey I finished your original plants vs pipes! Was a really fun course, I drew the picture of mario's butt.

I've got two new stages up! This time I created two different variations of the same level, thought it be interesting to see which one is more liked by other players.

You were expecting a signature, boy I bet You're Disappointed.

@Whopper744 - Played SS Magikoopa! Loved it! (Gave you a star) I haven't beaten it yet, but I set you to follow so I can come back to it later. I really like what you did with the design aspects.

@Tamara - Peach's Night Out is a blast! I'm stuck in one part, but I'm coming back to it later. I will figure it out. (Gave you a star as well)

@eXtremeHippo - Played "Bowser's Bob-omb Factory". Great level! Very similar to one I'm building. (Mine is an enemy factory that also includes bob-ombs as well as others.) Set you as a designer to follow and gave you a star.

@Brewsky - Played "Find Toon Link" What a fun level! I like being rewarded like that for searching and breaking stuff. Well done! Gave you a star and added to follow.

@ChelsAngel - Played Rosalina's Journey! What a great course! Loved the ice blocks, cave, and stars used to make is "space-like". Very well done! Gave it a star and added you to follow.

@Blue_Blur - I played your new course. Excellent use of the shoe!

My second level:

CD53-0000-004C-A7F1

In style of SMB1 and TLL level design.

I should start commenting other players levels here, once I get some more playtime in the game.
