Has anybody had experience with the big 8bit Mario power? Is it worth it buying the amiibo?
When getting such a mushroom, just about everyone get moustaches, cannons shoot Luigis, the red cannons shoot Toads, some enemies gets hats/caps, the red Koopa Troopas wears the caps backwards, Bowser has the Peach riding on his back, Bowser Jr. has Luigi riding on his back, etc.
9A68-0000-0067-753E - Operation Dr. Mario
5459-0000-005C-82E1 - Tanooki Fortress
I played your Operation Dr. Mario and one other level not mentioned here(SM challenge? I'm not sure about the name), they're good fun. But the fishes dropping and jumping from the bottom in ODM were annoying.

I have the amiibo bought but not opening it xD. I've played many levels with it though. It's fun to see all the enemies be different things, other then that though, nothing special. Mario just destroys everything and if hit by an enemy goes back to normal size.

...The shortcut pipe was the only troll thing there, lol. But yeah the level is meant to be hard, because everyone enjoys those automatic levels or ridiculously hard ones.

Keep it PG-13-ish.
@Duffking: I've played those two levels, and then I played and starred all of them. Those were really cool, and I like how you can make the most of a single concept and have a convincing level based on one object. i'll be following your upload for sure.
A Truly Smashing Level was very satisfying. and fun. It just felt good.
A Ghostly Visage might be my favorite, as I like heavily themed levels. This one was really beautiful. Everything looked nice and well put together.
Beware of the Dog! is fun. with some good platforming with a bit of extra challenge on the side. Very sensible design.
P-Switch Panic is maybe the course I liked the least. It was nice and fun, but a bit bland outside of the part with the grinders. THAT was really good.
Yoshi Must Die! The good old joke. Like 15 times in a row. Poor Yoshi. Nice level though
Buzzy Beetle Blitz is my second favorite. I tried doing a course with these little guys but failed miserably. Yours is really well made and each aspect of the enemy is well used.

I think you might enjoy The secrets of Chompville.
See ya.
Thanks dude! I'll be sure to check your levels out in the next few days - give me a nudge if I don't get back to you
I got a great idea for a new item in the sfx area (frog icon)
Bullet Time!!! you put the hidden hotspot at the height of your 3rd super jump and boom.. everything slows down to bullet time..
or you have a screen full of bullet bills and bombs and balls flying around with wrenches... and the only way to be able to navigate is to put these bullet time slow mo hotspots everywhere so you can think about what you are doing..
@Tamara finished the zelda level, it was really awesome :3
@SKTTR played Tanooki's Fortress also diddy kong level, not sure if that one was your or not, I forget .-. anyway starred that. (I got stuck in the wiggler room and just lol'd a lot.)the fortress level though frutrated me quite a bit cause certain areas I didn't grasp what you had to do right away. I blame that on myself though, completed the level easily once I understood each part. I liked how certain areas you had to have spot on timing to get it or you lost your power up. I also liked that you provided power ups through each section so you didn't have to start over. ^-^ (I forgot to star the fortress one I think. I don't remember for sure..if you want the star I can go back later and star it =P)

@jariw: @Tamara: so im confused.. i did get it.. and the whole screen became retro 80's televsion tube.. and his powers definitely makes me want to design a level around it.. he crushes manythings.. so its like the large mushroom in new supermario bros where he just stomps through bricks etc.. but he can jump off turtles and bounce around.. so there is definitely some clever game play ideas you can implelentn around this one powerup. BUT, the only time i saw it was with a brown classic color scheme. i never encountered the blue overall version which makes me wonder if the classic brown overalls is the only version that does this?
does anybody know the answer to this? do both versions unlock it?

What do you guys think?
It's a good idea, things like that and gravity manipulation would be great. But there are so many other things they can add that are in the Super Mario games that we should get first.
I played~! <33 @Kinan: Take to the Sky - This was fun but short! I was worried it was going to be hard to dodge everything while flying, but I did really good and only got shot down once. Luckily I didn't die! @DanoLefourbe: I played three of your courses and they were all excellent. You're a really good designer! These maps were never too hard or easy, never too long or short. Perfect medium. Journey Through Sea of Fire - Cool maps! I've always wanted to make an air/water courses, but I'm really bad at making water courses. You did a good job above and below the surface ;3 Secrets of Chompville - I died a few times, the trick that got me through was to carry a shell whenever possible. I ended up popping so many chomps! Two Tribes - I thought the designs in this map were really cool! I easily beat this map by destroying the top block on the pyramid and jumping ship to ship to the finish. @Maxoxpower: This course was challenging! For me, the moving platforming near the beginning was rough. I often got hurt from stuff I couldn't see! Didn't like fighting monty moles in literally the top row of the stage, and didn't like dropping into wrenches that I couldn't see. The map is somewhat confusing to navigate, but was fun to explore. I actually did like this stage despite my complaints @Duffking: Inside Mario's House. Very easy and short. Too many lives are awarded. I'm pretty sure any more than three per course doesn't count... What made this easy was so many mushrooms! There's a mushroom before and after each challenge. @Captain05crunch: Mushroom Jungle - I like the look and feel of this course. I think most the course is a good easy/medium difficulty, with the exception of the moving vine room. After dying there maybe three times I cheated by carrying a P switch all the way to the wiggler's house, and turning his house into coins to skip the moving vine challenge XD @ChelsAngel: Race Koopa the Quick - I didn't really feel like I was racing because he wasn't within sight a majority of the time, but it was cool that you set up areas where you do see him. This map is hard! Most of the challenges were easy to master and I was able to get though fine after a few deaths. My biggest complaint was getting lost and not knowing where to go. That might be because the map is a bit busy and it looks like there's multiple ways to go (still not sure), and because of the door that takes you backwards. Have no idea what that was for o.o;;

Yes, and if you die three times and collect one life each time they still add up to that maximum of three lives. So basically you should try to keep it to just one bonus 1UP mushroom per course.

The part where it brings you back to basically the beginning was just because in Mario 64 if you tried to take a shortcut it would make you start over xD I wanted to incorporate that in some way =P
Theres a double path for each because one is for Koopa and one is for Mario. Sadly depending on how fast or slow the player is sometimes koopa goes bye bye. I tried to block it off with P switches but it resulted in Koopa's elsewhere being set free. lol
Thanks for playing though ^-^

The level I am currently making is going to take me at least a week to finish. It is complex and full of puzzles, I'm not even sure people will be able to complete it within the time limit. (I hope they will anyway) Each area is slightly harder separated into 4 parts. (The 1st part will be the easiest (which will say a lot once you see it lol) 1-2 part will be a battle of puzzles, avoiding enemies, timing properly. 3-4 part will be difficult puzzles with difficult timing. (it will make you think lol) I've been playing a lot of puzzle levels and such for ideas.
For now though here is my most recent level that some of you have played =) finally had time to upload it to the website so I have an image now xD

@SuperWiiU: Good advice! @mushroomer: I don't know about the 8bit mario amiibo, except that one of them is more expensive on ebay :x @ChelsAngel: Thanks for playing the teeny dungeon! You can reset Koop the Quicks position by using doors
I'm about to go play some Mario Maker right now actually, so I'll be sure to try out some of the levels posted here by you guys and then post some of my thoughts about 'em later.

@Maxoxpower power Hail to the K. KING was good. Differant from anything iv seen yet. I want to let let you know I was able to cheese Bowser by just standing on the 1st set of 2 blocks and shooting him. Don't know if that was intended or not. Either way it was rather enjoyable.
