Last week I was browsing ebay and decided to buy a new copy of Pikmin 3 for $90 because I figured the price would only get exponentially higher from this point on. After a two-day Pikmin 3 session, I googled "Pikmin 3." And then that's today when I found out Nintendo is making more copies for $30. I messed up badly!!!!!!!!!!!
I am stressing out. The seller does not accept returns so that's out of the question.
I'm not sure if they same laws apply in your country but regardless if they don't accept returns or not they must offer a refund if it's returned tp them within 7 days because of your statutory rights.
TBH you should of just bought it off the eshop if you were worried about money.
@arronishere: I don't buy digital games if physical copies exist. The only digital games I have are Mario Party 2 and Super Smash Bros. 64 on Wii VC, Minecraft (PS3) and a bunch of PS3 games.
@Chandlero: Will my Pikmin 3 save file be compatible with the Nintendo Selects version of Pikmin 3? I've been playing it for two days nonstop.
Yeah, it's saved to the hard drive. If you've already opened the game so you've broken the seal you've got no chance of getting close to the amount of money you've paid for it now.
^Just live with it, you were happy to over pay for it in the first place when there were cheaper options and the game's doesn't get better or worse depend on the price you pay.
I agree with @arronishere, also imagine if infact the new Nintendo Selects line is a fake like some have been speculating. Then you'd need to spend another $90 to get a copy.
Just deal with it. Nothing you can really do now. Just suck it up. Even if you say you sell it for 60 dollars then you buy it again for 30 you're still out 60 dollars. This is just a case of live and learn.
