Topic: Gamepad doesn't work anymore.

My Wii U has finally bit the dust. The buttons don't work. I've tried resetting the Gamepad and cleaning the buttons but nothing fixes it. I guess all I can do now it sell my Wii U games.

@Snaplocket i think nintendo is still repairing WiiUs

@NintendoByNature I checked their help page, it said they stopped.

@Snaplocket does any buttons work or the analogue stick. Holding down the power button for 10 seconds or try to re sync the pad.

@Snaplocket really? I feel like I recently checked and they still are. Could be wrong sorry about that.

@1UP_MARIO Basically, the a button only works when it feels like and sometimes the touch screen activates at random and yes I did try holding down the power button and resyncing the controller.

@Snaplocket Have you tried contacting Nintendo to set up a repair?

You misread something. Nintendo hasn't discontinued Wii U repairs.

Newest Nintendo platforms that Nintendo doesn't perform repairs on are for the original Wii family and the 3DS/3DS XL/New 3DS (New 3DS XL, New 2DS, and New 2DS XL are still supported).

If you're willing to spend the money to get it repaired, give Nintendo support a call and setup a repair. They undoubtedly won't be doing Wii U repairs much longer.
