Honestly, (though it will NEVER happen) I'd love to see nintendo update some more of their 8-bit games and put them up on wiiware. Who wouldn't pay ten or fifteen bucks to play the original Zelda with A Link to the Past graphics for example? Now I know I'm dreamin' when I say Zelda All-Stars with all the 8-bit games (including the gameboy games) What other games would you love to see updated or all-starred?

It's a me, Luigi!

Hmmm, I'd quite like to see Kirby's Dream Land in vibrant colour.

How about a WiiWare Mario Bros. update, borrowing it's graphical style from NewSMB? I'd get it for 600pts.

I've always hoped for a "Zelda All-Stars" ever since Super Mario All-Stars came out.

Zelda was given updated graphics and new dungeons in BS Zelda, a downloadable SNES game in Japan. It's too bad that emulation problems make this an unlikely VC release. Link to the Past looks beautiful as is. Link's Awakening got a DX update for GBC, which was pretty nice. Zelda 2 is probably the only one I'd like to see updated. The difficulty is too much for most gamers -- I've only beaten it once myself, despite loving it to death. The graphics are nice but as with any NES game, a bit outdated. It'd be nice to revisit the black sheep of the Zelda family. I don't think a complete All-Stars package is necessary though and would probably take more work than it's worth when most of these games are on VC anyway.

Come on, friends,
To the bear arcades again.

Ah yes, I remember asking my mom to PLEASE pick up an SNES when she was running errands while I was ice fishing with my dad and that I would work off the price via chores. Upon coming home, I was disappointed that there was not one in site...until I sat on my bed. She hid it under the covers! There is was, bundled with Super Mario All-Stars (the special edition that actually included Super Mario World on the same cart). Oh how I loved Super Mario World, but the real bonus was the graphical upgrade for SMB1 and SMB2 - very nice! I doubt Nintendo will ever release All-Stars for Virtual Console...not when they can sell the full games individually (minus the make-overs). If they could find a way to sell the upgraded games individually, I'm sure they would (i.e. Super Mario Bros Plus, Super Mario Bros 2 Plus, etc.)

Hoping for a GameBoy revival
