I too never got around to the Donkey Kong Country games the first time around, their subsequent Game Boy ports, or the Virtual Console downloads. I'm confident they will resurface down the road, so maybe next time when they're rereleased. I'd love to see a Kirby's Dream Collection deal for the Donkey Kong franchise, someday.
Pitstop II tops my list. I loved that game and dragged my feet downloading it, so it's the only category in the North American Wii Virtual Console that I don't have a representative from.
The only game that I bought that's delisted is SimCity. Got in early on that one since I think it was one of my first downloads when I bought a Wii a year into its lifespan.
I'm glad I got Donkey Kong Country 123 and Sim City before they were pulled. Well, I bought them on their VC release day because they're all amazing classics.
Also glad for getting the C64 games Paradroid, Uridium, Boulder Dash and The Last Ninja 1&2 (3 was unfortunately broken. I wish they'd fixed it but at least I got a refund).
I wanted Impossible Mission I&II and both International Karate games though. I was sick when they were removed without an announcement!
I'm not so glad that Nintendo pulled Yoshi's Cookie, and even though I downloaded it, since it's removal I CANNOT re-download it. After transfering my games to Wii U it got lost and I cannot play it anymore! That's really disturbing the hell out of me!
And I'm sad about Super Turrican 2. It was never released on the EU VC. I would have bought all three Turrican games but I waited for ST2's release because Europe has only 1&3.
I wish I had gotten Donkey Kong Country 2 and 3 before they were suddenly yanked from the VC Shop Channel on Wii.
Also, R-Type.
I don't know what region you are in, but R-Type for the TG-16 has been re-added, and to my knowledge, is still available. I purchased it after it was brought back.
On topic, I am bummed that Bloody Wolf and Silent Debuggers got yanked. Oh well. I could always buy an actual TG-16 and the physical games...
Wierdness: All SNES Capcom fighters removed for NA.
That's right. The games responsible for the SNES incredible sales in 1992 were removed. Maybe it's time to make a petition to Nintendo to restore at least for one week all of the removed games (although it's a terrible idea, all kinds of signed petitions are always ignored. Sorry, dumb Sony fans.)
R-Type for the Sega Master System was never re-added. Nor were any of the sequels (R-Type III and Super R-Type for the SuperNes),
It's indeed a shame, but who knows how the whole thing works. Only Street Fighter and Final Fight was removed for the SNES but not anything else from Capcom. Super Turrican was suddenly removed and a few time after it was restored, Super Turrican 2 was removed. We need some explanation but maybe we should just grab what we still have ASAP.
Shining Force and Shining Force II for the SEGA Genesis/Megadrive which was removed earlier this week...those games were incredible strategy RPG's back in the day and I actually found out that they had just been removed after I had already loaded my account with 2,000 Wii Points to download both of the games.
Needless to say I'm kicking myself for not downloading the games when I had the chance to do so.
Pokedex 3D. Now it's the 'Dex 3D Pro and it isn't free.
Wrong section of the forum. This for Wii VC, not WiiU, not 3DS, not even DSi, just good ol' (dying) Wii.
Now, back to the topic, all Shining games are still at the Shop, at least in NA.
This is why I have turned to other methods to play the classic games like buying the original systems and cartridges and emulation. The VC service is great but pulling games from the service is a joke and the fact that some games will never come to the system cause of red tape has just become aggravating for me.

Ooops. My bad.
God first.

Sure, but you certainly are another user who gets in the wrong topic. Flappy Bird hasn't even been in any Nintendo system AFAIK. If you want something like that but with far higher quality values, try Baloon Fight.
