Topic: Would it be a good idea if Nintendo could release both an N64 mini and Gamecube mini?

I don’t think Nintendo is planning to do any more “classic” consoles. Why would they skip 2018, when they didn’t have a single new revision of 3DS or Switch?

Well, I do believe that Nintendo would put more retro games from NES to Gamecube for Nintendo Switch Online service before they continue to release more retro mini consoles. Okay?

Old school games, retro games, Nintendo, SEGA, PlayStation, you name it! 😉👍

@Galarian_Lassie Probably because a N64 Mini without Rare would be as poorly received as the PS Mini so it gets put on hold until those Rare games can be licensed.

@Grumblevolcano Hopefully if Nintendo does do a N64 Classic, they do at least try to get some third party support (outside of Rare) Wii and Wii U VC are both missing plenty of third party N64 titles.

@redd214 I agree with you 110%. I would much prefer seeing these games get released in collections on Switch and other current consoles. My TV does not get along with HDMI switch boxes and physically swapping cables over and over gets annoying really fast.

@NikBoToon If they did the Game Boy route, I would want them to skip straight to GBA and have games from both GB and GBA on the device and a working cartridge slot for original games. Otherwise, I would prefer those collections on Switch.
