The trifecta of Mario World, ALttP and DK Country since those games got me into gaming initially. Pokemon Yellow was my first handheld game. Overall though, probably Mario World. It was the game I played most as a kid; loved everything about the game. Played the heck out of the GBA port as well, first game I 100%'ed.
@KryptoniteKrunch And was pretty hard too(SMW), specially that final special world with the snes symbol. I choosed Pokemon Silver but the struggle was fierce with Super Mario World believe me.
My Top 9 Favorite Games of All time.
1. Judgement
2. Baldur's Gate 3
3. Bully (Rockstar)
4. Person 4 / Golden
5. Sonic Adventure 2
6. Xenoblade X
7. Ape Escape 2
8. Animal Crossing: New Leaf
9. James Bond 007 Nightfire
Pokemon Diamond, Pokemon SoulSilver, and Super Mario Galaxy were probably my most influential first games when I was pretty young, although I would say Super Mario Galaxy takes the cake with the overall best first game I could have. To think that was my first major introduction to Mario is crazy, and I remember playing the levels over and over again trying to find the secrets, and also digging into the lore of the world with Rosalina’s books and whatnot. It’s truly a magical game, and its sequel is awesome as well.

Joycon Boy Forever
Currently Playing:
Switch: Fire Emblem: Three Houses
3DS: Pokemon Alpha Sapphire
PS4: Persona 5, Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order
Super Mario World: I played this to death in my aunt's basement on my cousins' SNES. She babysat me on and off for a lot of my childhood; I had full run of the basement as I got older as long as I did my homework first.
Super Mario All-Stars: Same as above.
Donkey Kong Country: Same as above. I still haven't played the other two by Rare though. I hope to fix that soon.
Pokemon Blue/Yellow and Pokemon Gold/Silver/Crystal: I never owned Red but had all the others at different points. As a long-time Pokemon nerd, these were VERY influential on my love of RPGs.
Rollercoaster Tycoon: I've probably put at least a couple thousand hours into this game over the years. Zoo Tycoon is a fairly close second, but this is responsible for my love of simulation games. That said, some other games dulled my taste in them a little.
The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess: Not sure if this counts since I played it when I was 16-17, but it was my first Zelda game.
halo 2 played that a lot with friends and family. Then Mario kart Wii had a great time with that. Super Mario 64 ds my first 3d Mario game, played that to death. Then wind waker HD the legend of Zelda game that got me into the series.
I remember my mom yelling at me, why the remote control of the tv doesnt had batterys?. The answer was clear, i used it on my game boy in order to catch Lugia. LOL.
Mom used grounded, was supereffective!
1. Street Fighter II SNES
My first experience with Fighting games. Also, the popularity of SF II was inspiring Hong Kong movie makers to put Street Fighter parody inside their movies (Future Cops, City Hunter). That was very Unforgettable moments.
2. Tiny Toon Adventures: Wacky Sports Challenge SNES
My first experience with Party games from Tiny Toons.
3. Whomp 'Em NES
I still remembered when i was really hyped to draw the 6 different weapons from each places on Whomp 'Em onto my drawing paper.
4. B-Wings NES
I was really hyped with the Wing design from B-Wings that caused different projectiles from each wings i equipped on.
Hard for me to decide. But on the nes it was smb (all 3) ,tmnt (both games), and punch out!! During grade school i had a Sega and my best friend had a super Nintendo. So we played ALOT of streets of rage 2 and 3 on Sega and tons of tmnt 4 turtles in time. As we got older. It became a ton of super smash bros on 64 and Tony hawks pro skater on ps1
I forgot about Mario party and all the n64 wwf games
Mario Kart Wii, Lego Star Wars, Lego Indiana Jones, Super Mario Galaxy, Super Mario Galaxy 2, Animal Crossing: City Folk, Wii Play, Wii Sports, Active Life: Outdoor Challenge, Thrillville, and so many more...
The Wii was an amazing console.
When I was a child, I played a whole lotta platformers and racing games. Super Mario World, Super Mario All-Stars, Donkey Kong Country (mostly 1 and 2 - didn't play too much of 3 back then), Yoshi's Island, Super Mario 64, Banjo-Kazooie, and Super Mario Sunshine all got me into the former while F-Zero (SNES original and F-Zero X), Mario Kart 64 (Super Mario Kart as well, but MK64 was my introduction to the Mario Kart series. Loved Double Dash, too), Diddy Kong Racing and even San Francisco Rush were why I digged the latter. I did play a decent amount of Pokemon, as well - that's how I got into RPGs, after all. The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past was what got me into Zelda games, as well. Oh, and Super Smash Bros. 64 and Melee, too...especially Melee!
Though I grew up in a strictly Nintendo household, I did play Sonic 1 and 2 while I was being babysat years ago and that got me into the Sonic series...though I had trouble with Marble Zone and Chemical Plant Zone, respectively. XD Sonic Adventure 2 Battle was the first Sonic game I ever got - say what you will about SA2, but I loved that game as a kid and I still have a soft spot for it! I loved Sonic Mega Collection too. When I got my PS2 I played a lot of Jak and Daxter on it - I remember 100%ing it for the first time and I still have my save file from way back then.
Super Mario World. Used to draw my own levels on paper all the time. Too bad they got thrown years before it was possible to turn them all into reality.
In the somewhat later years, much of the SNES RPG library.
I remember waiting years to play FF6 but it felt worth it when I did.
Too bad Square-Enix now cares to turn it to crap. Well, FF7 fans who demanded SE to remake the game for years, get ready for your turn to see SE turn your childhood favorite to poo. (FF7 had a confusing on purpose storyline but still a pretty good game.)
Sonic the Hedgehog on the Master System
First games console I got had it built in, played it over and over recording the score in the back of my instruction manual as it had room for "notes"
Super Mario World on the SNES
First Nintendo game I got played it to death, thought I had unlocked all endings with 96, until about 2 years ago when i got it for my New 3DS I found another ending in the Ghost house in the final area and finally got the almighty 97*
Yes there are alot more, but thought I would just keep it to the main ones with reasons
