Topic: What button mods are acceptable in Super Smash Bros Brawl and Melee Tournaments.

In brawl I usually use a Classic Controller Pro which is Shell Swap modded with no actual hardware mods used on it.I swapped the sticks on my Wavebird with my normal Wii Classic Controller sticks because the Gamecube sticks get slippery after a while and it can be hard to use the C stick in Melee.Would the Person who makes the rules in Super Smash Bros Tournaments in general be ok with The stick swaps I've done on my Wavebird.I also have another Wavebird with a non working z button which I would only use for brawl which has PS2 Sticks and no springs in the triggers so I can instantly use the Shield or whatever move I assign to the triggers to.

Or rather if the mods I made were on normal Gamecube Controllers because I heard that Wavebirds aren't Tournament legal because of Frequency Issues.
