Topic: Original Nintendo Color & Graphic Issue Help

I am a newbie to this site and forum and I am looking for some much needed help / advice. I have an original Nintendo system from the late 80's early 90's that I had my kids started playing. All was good until about a month ago when I noticed the colors started being off, now they have gotten even worse with grey / white coloring in some areas. Also, there is a solid line that is "blanked" out in portions of the screen where you can't see anything.

I tried to switch out different games to see if it could be related to a specific game cartridge, however, that was not the case as it did the same things with the other games. Does this sound like a 72 pin connector issue? Or is it even worse with it being a motherboard issue? All pins appear to be in decent condition with no bends. I have pictures available but it appears that pictures cannot be posted. Any assistance or guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for all of your help!

The 72-pin connector (inside the console) is the most common issue.

@KingMike Thanks for the prompt response. I will try the replacement 72 pin connector to start with as they are only $12 on Amazon. If it was a motherboard issue, do you know what the signs would be?

@KingMike So I tried a new 72 pin connector and it unfortunately did not fix the issue. The same graphical issues were the same even once I put the new connector in. Are there any other ideas?
