Nope I just tossed the Gamecube into the backpack when I took it over to a friends house to play. I don't know why Nintendo had a handle on the Gamecube in the first place. Since I rarely moved the Gamecube anyways.
The handle was one of Nintnedo's design mistakes. It didn't help the image of the Gamecube. How many times did people actually move the cube enough to warrent a handle in the first place. You hooked it up to the T.V and played.
The handle was the worst "feature" of the Gamecube. Kinda like marketing a DVD rewinder.
yep. when our daughter was battling leukemia from the ages of 14 to 19, we were often in hospital for, literally, months at a time. that meant carrying a lot of stuff. the handle was useful for us, as we'd just pack her games & cords, grab the cube and go. it got a lot of use at children's hospital of pittburgh. unfortunately, we lost her to the disease. that old 'cube means the world to me now. i know some hated the system, but it gave caitie a lot of hours taking her mind off some very bad stuff. when she was too sick to play, i'd play and she'd watch and kabitz.
Other than when I had to pick it up and move it like when I moved states (tv to box) or from downstairs to up in this newer place I have but that's it. I don't take my systems elsewhere as I like them to remain working and safe.

Yep, wasn't really taking it anywhere though just felt like using the handle for no real reason, carried it to the song "too sexy for this shirt" by some bald 1 hit wonder.
