Anyone here play the Xbox 360 Diablo 3 Ultimate Evil Edition?

Anyone experience little micro stuttering from time to time? I wonder if that is normal.

It is weird to get used to console gaming after all those years on PC and handhelds.

The Xbox 360 (PS3) are not supposed to be with perfect frame-rate right?

@Zuljaras I'll have to leave that answer to someone else, since I haven't played the game, but where getting used to console gaming is concerned: the only real difference is the controls, and not being able to extensively change graphics settings, but other than that, I'd say that console gaming is far more convenient and more instant.

Although nowadays, with having to install the game before you can play it, the experience is coming closer to gaming on a PC, but personally, it's still different enough for me to prefer consoles over PC's any day.

Don't care much about mouse/keyboard controls and/or being able to max settings on certain games.
I'm sitting 10 feet/3m away from my TV, so Full HD images on the Xbox One, and even sub-1080p on the Xbox 360, are more than fine for me.

Well, the Xbox One ThanosReXXX, of course. Or simply Xbox One XXX, for short...

It'll have 4x the power of the Xbox One X, will be 8K out of the box, super-sampling 2.0 for those poor saps that still don't have a 4K TV, bigger and much faster internal hard drive, although with 8K games, even the standard 2TB drive will hardly be enough. And then there will be even more backward compatibility than EVER before, bigger, better titles, more third party support, Elite controllers as standard, HoloLens as optional peripheral, combined with Kinect 3.0, which will be smaller than ever before, so you will hardly notice it sitting underneath your TV, the BluRay drive will also be massively improved, and to top it all off, the console will be almost 30% smaller in size than its predecessors...

Okay, dream time aside, and in all seriousness, I only suspect some peripherals, and HoloLens might actually be one of these things, or maybe a special edition Xbox One steering wheel & pedals, for use with Forza Horizon 4...

Xbox One XXX - The console of choice for HORRRRRRN! I mean... racing games, of course. Gotta get that truck driving on the system first, though. Microsoft Truck Simulator XXX or something similar.

Anyway, there's an Ultimate sale starting tomorrow until the end of the month, so I'm hoping there's going to be a good discount on the Hot Wheels DLC, and a few other things as well. I suppose I might also add Motorsport 7 to my Forza collection if there's a good enough discount.

@Grumblevolcano Interesting. I wouldn't be surprised. Of course they do it after I held off a month to decide to buy a new one or not. There was a prototype floating around since January with leaked images from Hong Kong, and with the constant shortages, everyone expected a new one at E3. I started looking at Elites back in Dec when thinking of getting a 1X or building a new PC.

It's a very significant possibility. (And now I won't be participating )

@Zuljaras I remember PC gaming being "play play, stutter, hard choppy freeze, stutter, then corrupted screen and loud high pitched whine from speakers - reboot". Couldn't resist. I have the game on PS4 and X1, but never on PS3/360.

@ThanosReXXX Nah, they've already said HoloLens was never really intended for consumers and presenting it with XBox was probably the wrong place to do it. It's just too expensive. But where do I pre-order the X.B.O.X.X.X.? And does it come in a bundle with Senran Kagura and a 6-month trial of HBO? It really should to sell the idea.

@DarkRula Ultimate sale? Holy geeze I just spent a bunch on the Amazon + CDKeys + a handful of MS store sales (and 2 full price older fighting games I've been looking at and Captain Toad) Plus Sony's big sale last week. The sales are killing me but I have like 10 years of games to play. I kid you not, I'm up to 107 XBox games (some are duplicates of PS4 games) and like 25 PS4 games to play. Plus a dozen Switch. I need to fold time.

Still....looking forward to see what's up there.

And here I was about to buy the KH3 complete edition preorder on PS4. (I really want it on X1, but the bundle of KH1.5, 1.8, 2.8 + KH3 for $100 is hard to beat, and since the first two are PS only and I don't have them.....it kind of doesn't make sense to buy them separately while buying KH3 on X1 )

@NEStalgia Well you are better than me. I just spam A or just play the vs/arcade mode in games that have long story scenes. BBCTB I have yet to play the episode mode after starting it and pretty much nope-ing back out to Vs mode.

Glad you are liking the Razer! I've been lurking on shoryuken.com looking for padhacking guides for the procon. I think I'll be making a procon stick for the switch soon enough.

KI has always been weird...you will have to elaborate. (never liked it much growing up but I did get the new one...cuz I buy all fighting games I can.)

Once the bug gets you that's it. Especially once you find "your" franchise to play. Also I can't help you...I buy FGs I don't even like (why do I have MK9 and X? I loathe MK but I have friends who play so...yeah.)

But where you can get it? Well, it's not out officially yet, obviously, but I've had a little chat with Phil, and my excellent sales & marketing skills have convinced him to do select pre-sales in certain areas, so those interested can send a reservation sum of $400 to my PayPal account.

Of course, since it's a pre-order, there's no guarantee that you'll actually get one, or that you'll get all your money back, but in exchange, game discount vouchers will be readily available as a consolation price...

@NEStalgia Yeah, I figured as much, except the last three X's need not be separated, so then the acronym would have to be X.B.O.X.X, which I like even less than X.B.O.X.X.X...

But as you know, I hate acronyms in general, especially in online forums and so on. It feels like laziness to me, that people apparently aren't able (or more than likely: willing) to type complete names anymore for even the shortest of names or phrasings, such as a certain someone I know that always abbreviates "on the other hand"...

And I truly hate having to ask people about it, because it might potentially make me look stupid, so what happens instead, most of the time, is that I end up spending WAY too much of my time Googling what it might possibly mean, and that's still no guarantee of getting it 100% right, so damn all these people, and their awful, lazy @ss internet habits...

@ThanosReXXX Haha, well we need some slack. When you write as many words as you and I do you have to trim the fat where possible I at least truncate words to make up for the quantity of them. Most kiddies today don't even need paragraphs

@NEStalgia My main love for the TEseries (aside from the sanwa parts I'm less picky about joystick and gates oddly enough but buttons are everything. Sanwa's are twitchy sensitive but they make piano inputs a breeze) was the fact that it was built to be modded. The HRAP not so much. (I also don't like the hayabusa buttons but they do in a pinch)

Looks like you are amassing quite the collection. I'm a SF snob so I can't stand MK style games. Too slow, input timing is off (to me). My brother likes injustice so I play it on occasion, but its a snooze fest for me.

While Hot Wheels isn't on sale, the all in one Forza Horizon 3 bundle has returned 75% off (£33.74) so if you don't already have a digital copy now is the perfect time to get one.

@NEStalgia Do we need slack? I'm an old-fashioned guy in that respect, and "slack" sounds just like another word for lazy or I don't want to go through all that "trouble" to me...

And I like clarity, both in my own comments, and in those of others that I read or that address me. I don't want to be guessing or Googling meanings of words or titles that I might not even care for in the first place; it's a waste of my time and precious energy...

And we may also be from the text walls, but at least that makes most of what we want to convey, clear as day.

@Ryu_Niiyama I'm actually with you on the importance of the buttons, even as a novice. Technically you don't actually do much with the stick in a fighting game, and most of isn't that much easier than on a pad except for better absolutes on the diagonals with a square gate. But the buttons are everything. Of course I too often feel like I'm "mashing" more than knowing what I'm doing....but sometimes it's hard to tell in a fighting game what's "mashing" and what's "playing right" considering the amount of combos in most games that consist of "light punch 10 times fast"

Well...as for my FG cred, I'm a novice. I'd get hosed instantly online in most cases, I'm a masher in many regards, but I'm content I was able to beat USF2 on World Warrior difficulty multiple times with my two mains.....both on stick and joycons, so I guess I'm technically not terrible...I just feel terrible because I'm not a combo master.....and get decimated online by people who have played SF for 30 years. (I'm getting crushed in KI on medium though.) But yeah the Sanwa buttons have a really nice action point that you can kind of dance across the buttons rapidly very nicely.....even as a masher I can appreciate it! I've used them in the arcade (but the chairs are the wrong height there ) but feeling the difference at home, yeah, Hyabusas are kind of crummy. Some swear by them, but Sanwas for me (I still love that HRAP exists at all for Switch though, and I'm still hoping beyond hope Smash supports it. That would change my whole impression of Smash.) The Razer is almost identical to the TE2 for modability. The case opens pretty much the same way, with the addition of a hydraulic strut to hold it open...nice touch. Creaks on closing though. Never having touched a TE2 and looking at it online only I think it's probably easiest to think of the Atrox as TE2.5 It's almost identical, aesthetics/contours aside and a few QoL fit & finish updates (which is a good thing since Madcatz is gone!) ....and more lights....because Razer.

BTW, been debating about paying for full KI or not....I've been pretty on the fence. Then I picked the wrong character and it took me to the "you have to buy this character" menu...for giggles I clicked on the various character packs and clicked on the definitive edition and was greeted with a $10 price.....the sale started early! Well that's a no brainer! I have KI now (Debating about MKX for $10. Interesting to try, but I'm not sure MK will ever be my thing. Unfortunately Injustice and MvC:I I paid full price for last week are now on the sale...oh well!

Oh and DBZ:FZ is awesome! It joins Injustice and MvC in my favored list (Street Fighter is Street Fighter but I've decided to skip PS4 for fighters, so sorry Capcom...). KI...I don't know, I'm missing something. It's cool but I'm not understanding something important about the play. For $10, glad I have it though. I want to understand DoA a bit more....it's so different it's interesting. If you think Injustice is slow you must really hate DoA:Last Round.....but the whole "part boxer, part fighter" feel is interesting.

This is a heck of a sale, tons of stuff worth looking at. Some older stuff seems less interesting now. FFType0 interested me....then I realized, isn't that just a worse XV?

@NEStalgia I honestly can't even vividly remember California summers, just too long ago. All I remember is some foggy, mental images of Christmas under the palm trees, which was always weird to me...
(EDIT: well, that's not ALL I remember, but it is something that stands out, and remember: I was 9 when I left)

And over here, that temperature IS too hot. I can stand much higher temperatures when I'm abroad on holidays. Been to places like Turkey, Greece, Tunisia and so on, but over here, there's something about the semi-sea climate that makes the heat real sticky and stifling and energy-leeching, almost like having a hot, damp blanket around you all the time...

Today, is a bit more palatable than yesterday, but tomorrow and all of next week, temperatures are going to rise further, so I'm definitely NOT looking forward to that.
