Hey but we get Vanitas and Marluxia back....somehow....
We wont get answers to that. It just is a thing. Xehanort, time travel, Organisation XIII, each of them is Xehanort.
Oh and they still need to sort out Aqua etc. Too.

Additionay I attempted a live stream of Jak 2 on PS4 last night. I managed 40 minutes. After Jak 1 and X proved to be really poor emulations (which baffles me when the weaker Nvidia Shield can emulate the more capable than PS2 Gamecube) with frame rate problems and even straight pauses...Jak 2 proved no better in fact a little worse.
If youre going to play these Trikogies (Jak, Sly, Ratchet) dont on PS4, its terrible. PS3 for Jak, maybe Sly though it has issues, and Ratchet 1 and 2 as 3 has borked animations that even mess with scripted cutscenes not playing out as intended.
But id say PS2 hardware is the best for all of them without doubt.
These arent good emulations and if the quality of the Jak games is reminiscent of the other PS2 Classics, then this feature isnt worth it at all.
I could get PS2 emulation having issues not present in the originals on PS3, as Sonic Heroes has some issues exclusive to that PS3 Emulation, but even PS1 Classics on PS3 had slowdown not present if you used disc versions on the PS3.
But with the speed PS2 Classics have been drip fed, honestly this isnt worth it.
I'm so excited that it might actually arrive this year. The theme isn't my favorite yet, but then again we haven't heard the whole thing or the other versions that they'll be putting in. I wonder what Dearly Beloved will take shape as this time around.
And also, I'm super happy they're finally gonna wrap up the most interesting storyline in the series for me, which is Birth by Sleeps. I've been waiting ages for Aqua to get found, for her to get Ventus, and for Terra to separate from xehanort.
@Dezzy
Um....
Sometimes i wonder, why did Tetsuya Nomura extend the story of Kingdom Hearts soooo many times, like the mystery was still never uncovered ?
Kinda like Never Ending Story.
Several of the scenes in the KH3 trailer look sort of eh and plastic. It sort of popped out to me when I saw while half asleep, but looking at it again later, makes me feel like my original impression was correct.
@Octane I haven’t had any time to be able to sit down and play Shadow of the Colossus until today, and I am just blown away by how good it really is. I like the fact that it is a proper remake with the mechanics of the original game, albeit slightly touched up if you choose to use the modern control scheme.
The first time I trotted through the forest to the sixth or seventh colossi, I could almost smell the trees and feel the gentle breeze; easily the most naturally organic forest in any game I can think of.
I believe I am up to the ninth or tenth colossi, and have found each lizard at at least eleven or twelve prayer shrine thingmabobs. I like how the grip metre grows within the circle, as opposed to growing to the size of a small dinner plate in the bottom right of your television display!
It is those little QoL improvements that I really appreciate.
I do feel that the game looks different, what with it looking more nature and ‘realistic’, if you will. The fairytale-esque bloom of the original is missing (in parts), and some of the tunnels are a little bit too dark in this remake, which causes more fumbling about than necessary...
I will never tire of colossi three and five, even if they are more of a visual battles than anything. The music is still brilliant after all these years and, besides Agro’s galloping and the occasional grunt from the boy, the quietness of the world itself is marvellous.
I’m playing this in the ‘cinematic’ mode on my PS4 Pro for my first play through, then I shall give the ‘performance’ (60fps) mode a go once I have downed the last colossi. The grass, trees and faraway landscapes looks beautiful. The numerous waterfalls to the North-East of the map is breathtaking.
Annoyingly, I won’t be able to sit down and play this until Thursday now. How are you getting on?
Anyone else not too thrilled with the Pixar worlds in KHIII?
They just don't seem all that befitting of combat (even though KH's combat is more goofy than your usual JRPG). I feel like it goes against their spirit, and that Toy Story (or a general Pixar world) should have just replaced Hundred Acre Wood as the puzzle centric pacifist world.
Disney has a lot more worlds of fantasy, swashbuckling, and/or adventure they could have tapped into, such as Frozen, Big Hero Six, or even Marvel or Star Wars.
Currently Playing:
Switch - Blade Strangers
PS4 - Kingdom Hearts III, Tetris Effect (VR)

Yes, but then again, everything in Kingdom Hearts seems out of place. It's kind of its thing...
I mean, I'm not much of a Disney fan in the first place. I loved their 2D stuff, and some of their Pixar stuff (mostly Toy Story, Monsters Inc, and the ones with the fish). I just don't dig the way anything looks in their movies - everything looks as plastic-y as Toy Story, IMO...and Toy Story was the only place where it kinda made sense...

I would've preferred if they'd stuck exclusively to the hand-drawn cartoons. I consider those to be a different category to the 3D animation stuff. And definitely different to Disney owned real people stuff like Pirates of the Caribbean.
Besides they still haven't used the greatest Disney movie of all time. The Black Cauldron
@Peek-a-boo I beat the first four. I don't want to rush the game, so I'm going to do no more than four per playing session. I'm using the same old guide I made for the lizards back in the day, and I'm surprised to see it still works. I found quite a few of them already. I'm not sure if it's complete, but I do think most of them are on it.
Anyway, the game is absolutely gorgeous. Some of the areas look so different from the original, it may as well be a new game. It's weird how a few high quality textures and a bit more foliage and grass can make a game spring to life. I can't wait to continue later this week.
@RR529 Well, they did confirm Big Hero 6 making it in. We saw Rapunzel making an appearance as well as Olympus Colosseum making a return. Also, it would be a surprise if Frozen did not make it in, since Disney loves milking that series to the ground
FF7...yeah sure keep telling yourselves that. They just redesigned the damn characters again and they announced this game 3 years ago. If we get anything it'll be nothing of substance, nor can I see them derailing Kingdom Hearts 3 IF it comes this year with more "Hey it's Cloud!".
All I want is a new Ratchet game. I gave up on Jak ages ago because lol, that'll never happen, and neither will Sly because that cliffhanger is just gonna go unheeded. But Ratchet has hope. Probably be what Insomniac has their second team on.
