Honestly I think people are just blowing the remakes out of proportion. If you don't want to or have played them already then don't get them. There is a ton of stuff to play on the PS4. Those people who say there isn't are just MS fanboys looking to cause trouble or are people just bored of video games in general.

Yeah let's be honest PS has always been very third-party centric. Yes first party is important and needed but usually when people buy a PS console they buy one to play CoD, GTA, Resident Evil, Tomb Raider, etc
I'll bring an earlier point again in the form of a question: would you bring out 10+ AAA exclusives a year if only 2 of them would bring any return?
Well, I for one am happy to buy the uncharted collection! They are some of my favorite games, and I regret selling my ps3 with them to get a new console. So I'm happy to get them back, with 60 fps to boot! Uncharted and Mass effect are pretty much the only remasters I want to see. Selling God of War 3 by itself for 40 or 50 bucks though? No thank you!

Honestly that's why I bought my PS4, I bought it for games like the GTA series, Street Fighter series Arkham and other third party games that wouldn't come to the Wii U or if they did would be half done ports. I never was big on the God of War series or Uncharted though I will admit I have only played Uncharted recently but still it was a game I will play once and move on. The last time I enjoyed Sony exclusives was the PS One era and that was games like Spyro, Crash etc.
To be truthful if I want console exclusives I will stick with Nintendo, no one can beat them on that front.

I bought the PS4 because I knew it would have all the 3rd party support, while also having some exclusives (or at least console exclusives because I don't game on PC if I can avoid it) I care about. If you bought both consoles, or game heavily on PC, I could see why you'd be upset by the lack of exclusives...so, really I just suggest getting rid of one of the consoles in that case.

I rest my case.
Can't tell if you are being sarcastic there or not if your not then I apologize. But yeah I could have bought an Xbox One just as easily for those games, but I like the Sony controller and hardware better then MS plus the price point at launch. But yeah I am not ashamed to admit I bought my PS4 for third party games.

I bought my PS4, WiiU, PC and 3DS because i like them and i happen to be on the early years where you dont have any debts (House, car, children, etc...) and i had a decent job.
Theres my reason.
I will pretty much buy a Xbox One down the line too, if i dont get into anything big like the aforementioned stuff.
I bought a ps4 because it was cheaper than Xbox One at launch Now granted, I'm a huge Halo and Gears of War fan, but I feel like those series have run their course, so they aren't big selling points for me anymore.
Also, I was thinking about getting my first final fantasy game. Should I get X X2 HD, or Type 0 HD?

FFX HD is a great starting point. Type-0 is good, but part of its selling point is that it's a big change of pace for the series. Plus it's a spin-off, anyways. FFXV is also meant to be different to some degree, so I'd wait until you're a little familiar with the series. I don't recall FFX being the longest game out there, so long as you level up properly (which admittedly even in the original version you had to be pretty dumb to completely screw it up...like I was when I first played it...), so you'll have time. If you have access to a Vita or PS3 (or even a halfway decent PC), you could even go and play some of the older entries afterwards as well.

FFX is a better starting point than Type-0. It's an accessible, story-driven RPG, and one of the easier games in the series. Type-0 is part of a larger, more recent FF universe and will crush you under the weight of its bizarre lexicon if you're not prepared for it.
If you like X, you REALLY need to play IV, VI, VII, and IX as well to get the proper Final Fantasy experience.

Pls Fallout 4 special bundle. Im waiting on that game. I was waiting on F4 before they announced it and tbh Im surprised they did after all the false alarms. It's like the first PS4 game Im looking forward to. Everything else Im just not that worked up about so if it appears on PS3 I'm going to get that version. Plus a lot of stuff on the PS4 that would be my taste sort of already is on WiiU...
everytime I go into Costco I touch the floor model cause you can grab it and lift it and spin it around and whatnot. It's smaller than I expected out of the box. I thought it was going to be fatter like it's Xbox rival, it's in between the WiiU & Xbox. Even the PS3 Slim seems fatter than the PS4, or just barely smaller.

The PS4 has a slim, sexy, almost futuristic look to it. The Wii U is small and sleek, which has its own appeal. The Xbone, on the other hand, looks like it should be playing Betamax tapes.
