I've seen Legasista compared to Cladun. How similar are these two games? Cladun (possibly two of them?) is available on the Vita but I don't think Legasista is Vita-compatible. I'm intrigued by the character customization, character switching, puzzle-solving, dungeon-crawling, etc that Legasista contains and I guess I'm just looking for something like that I can play on my Vita.
Arcana Hearts 3 ($30) - Another expensive purchase, but I'm guaranteed to like this one. It's a fighting, and a deep one at that, and it's a series I recently got into. That's the problem, though. I still haven't played much of the first game in the series. This is supposed to be better, I hear, but I feel like I should beat the first game, first, since I paid, like, $20 for it...
This! So we can play together! I'm really bad at this game so you'll defeat me handily!

I just bought a $20 PSN card, plus I can add up to $10 with my credit card. Which game(s) should I buy:

Thought I'd mention that I ended up going with Legastista. So far, I'm not happy with it. Sure, it's story seems interesting, the characters are likeable, the dialogue is fairly well written, the gameplay is fun, it looks good, it sounds good...but it took forever to get going. Spent 2 hours in a tutorial with the game's most annoying character basically going "MEGAMAN MEGAMAN" every 5 seconds. I only just started and I've already lost all enthusiasm.
Why do so many games these days insist on constantly interrupting you? I mean, there were even signs posted throughout all 10(!!!) tutorial levels telling you everything you needed to know, sometimes even in a more concise manner. Did it really need stop me midgame a zillion times to tell me all that stuff? Sure, some of this is complex, but it even rips control away from you just to show you how to put on equipment. Most of it is taken from ClaDun anyways, except certain aspects are streamlined, and that game that game really knew how to start, IIRC. It didn't waste too much time on the basics and then gave you some breathing room while it introduced new elements slowly. Perhaps the game was trying to rush things, but I actually preferred it when the game just let me play it for a while and give me a chance to really test everything.
Ugh, I guess since I'm stuck with it, I may as well give it more of a chance, but I do hate it when a game gives a horrible first impression.
Anywho, Counter Strike. Great ****ing game. If you love arcade shooters like GoldenEye007 or Perfect Dark you're gunna go bananas.

I want that just to play against console users. It sounds hilarious.

I'd be interested in the mouse/keyboard support on it
I agree. Would be fun to see how well it works/how much it is used.
Also, does anyone know if CS:GO is Steam Play for PS3/PC?
and i picked up dragons dogma. someone take my wallet and hide it from me please.

If you have any taste in games at all your opinion of the game will U-turn once you start on the random dungeons, and put Link or some other retro character into the game.
For what it's worth, I had a similar first two-three hours to you.
@Mickeymac I'm willing to bet you'll fall in love with it now that you've gotten through that bit!
Rainbow Moon did a similar thing with a long intro, but while some didn't like the way it started out, to me, it only made the game feel more rogue-like. You really felt like a wimpy punk at the beginning and you slowly feel yourself get stronger. I just nailed the 40hr mark in it and I'm still having an absolute blast with it!

How is the single player in Borderlands? I'm thinking about picking up this game this weekend. They have the Ultimate or Complete Edition whatever they call it for $30 on PSN.
@Splat
Borderlands single player was awesome! I played through the main story and zombie island dlc without playing online. I meant to try multiplayer but I just never got around to it. You really can't go wrong with the goty edition at that price.
Anyone else loving Fall of cybertron? It just took the spot of my favorite PS3 game of the year
also I picked up the move bundle for 50$ brand new the other day at kmart. But have yet to find any move games that interest me. Might get resident evil 5 now though.

Greed Corps. wasn't bad, but I found its attempt at satire insulting for some reason. Just saying.
Haha, I thought the satire was utterly, deeply cutting. My kind of humour, really - no patience for the silly people that don't take environmentalism seriously.
Also possibly part of the reason the game bombed in terms of sales as far as I can tell.

I'm back on that Nier again. That soundtrack! It just sucks me into the game every time!
Oh, Counter Strike: G.O. doesn't have Steam Play (sadly), but it's a dang fun shooter. If anyone sees me online and wants to play, shoot me an invite. Same goes for DUST 514!
Well, that is after I get power back. Hurricane Isaac is hittin' in a few hours here, and I'll be without power for sometime.
