I'm debating on whether or not to grab a PS2 game from PSN, my eyes are currently set on either Odin Sphere or Shinobi. Anyone played either of them? And how does one play a PS2 game from PSN anyway? No more memory cards

I haven't played a PS2 game on my PS3 yet but I imagine you create a virtual memory card similar to how PS1 game saves work. Odin Sphere is a great game. If you like action RPGs, it's a must buy. Shinobi is just average. It's insanely hard but also very mundane. Run down hallways, kill enemies, repeat until the game is over. Plus the graphics on the environments look ugly even by PS2 standards. I like to call Shinobi, "Bottomless Pits: The Game" because you end up falling into them every few minutes thanks to the poor jumping controls. Get it if you like frustratingly hard games.

I also recommend GrimGrimoire. It's a 2D Strategy, RTS-lite game, similar to Swords & Soldiers, but much better and with a good story and hilarious writing.

I was leaning towards Odin Sphere over GrimGrimoire since Odin is more of an action rpg and not an RTS/strategy game.

I just wish we could play PS2 discs on all PS3 systems

So, anyone interested in Tokyo Jungle? They covered the Game in-depth on last week's episode of Imagine-Nation, and it looks really cool, IMO. PushSquare said it's getting a PSN release in EU, but I'm not sure about NA.

Got the latest Square-Enix monthly newsletter thing. The part about the thing in Seattle all looked so appealing until it said "a special announcement about the continuation of the Final Fantasy® XIII series!".

I hope that announcement is FFvsXIII's release date and not FFXIII-3.

It was never going to VsXIII. They have been hyping the last part of the lightning saga since comic-con. Funny how its the lightning saga now instead of the noubla stuff that included VS and Type-0.

Wasn't there supposed to be another Bit Trip Runner game and this one available on PSN? I haven't heard anything in awhile.

Fall of Cybertron is great Beat it already but will replay for some hidden items and multiplayer/co-op
