Topic: Nintendo Life Playstation 3 Fan Thread

So I was looking at a couple of games and th amount of games. Homing out is staggering.

Just off the top of my head I have a strong interest in The Last of Us,Beyond Two Souls,AC3,RE6,LBP Karting and Sleeping Dogs. I'm sure I could come up with more if I really thought about. That said I will more than likely wait for a price drop on all of them but The Last of Us and maybe Beyond.

I'm a cheap gamer...

Transformers Fall of Cybertron, Assassin's Creed 3, Littlebigplanet Karting, and maaaybe PS All Stars for me this year.

There are games coming out? This year? For the PS3? I wouldn't have guessed. Seems like everything decent that isn't a collection is getting moved to 2013.

I'm assuming Metroid Prime 4 means Halo 4. But even then that's only five games. These last two years have been awful for gamers who have been spoiled by 2010's year lineup. It's truly depressing.

And like I said before, 2013 is already better than 2011 and 2012 combined.

Don't seem to have a lot of time for gaming at the moment, my plans would probably look like this:

• Get Darksiders 2. Finish it.
• Get Borderlands 2.

I don't want to be a troll, but am I the only one who thinks Heavy Rain sucks? Every other PS3 exclusive is awesome! But Heavy Rain is the first game that the story depresses me to no end.

By the way, Metal Gear Solid 4 trophy patch is up!

If sad story is the only reason you think Heavy Rain sucks, then you might just be alone in that. There are plenty of other reasons to hate it

The lack of doing anything else just watching a very sad CGI movie also adds to the punch but yeah I guess i'm alone here

Not sure what to make of the (first) ending but... Wow the game was good.

Just because you dislike a game and are vocal about it, doesnt mean you are a troll unless you ramble on and on about it LOL . To anwser your question,no i hated every second with heavy rain too. But to it's credit it looked wonderful, top notch for ps3

I loved Heavy Rain but I can easily see how some wouldn't like it.

Dear lord is Sony daft. LittleBigPlanet Karting is coming out November 6 and going out head on with Halo 4. That doesn't seem like a good idea.

And since when has LBPK been a PS3 exclusive. I swore I rember it being announced for vita along side All stars Battle Royale.

I've never played it. But I've been enjoying 3 to no end this last day or so. Is 2 anything like 3? If so, I'll be down about making a purchase this week.

Just watched the Black Ops II multiplayer reveal. And Treyarch fixed everything. No more panic knifes, quickscoping is still the same as Blops 1, tactical grenades work and the guns look, sound and play fantastic. My only concern is if it's killstreak based. You know, if you unlock killstreak rewards you basically won the match?

I'm hoping they changed the Spy Plane killstreak to 4 or 5 kills instead of 3. Add even more balancing to the online.

Yeah, this. I greatly dislike Heavy Rain, but not because the story is depressing.

What's there to hate about Heavy Rain? Really, I can't think of one complaint outside of tank controls or, or uh... ...

Anyone getting/get Persona 4 Arena?

Im curious about that recently released ps2 title War of the Monsters. No one has talked about it here on the forums, would love to hear some opinions. It reminded me of that psn game Eat Them, which i thought was extremely horrible. This on the other hand looks like it could be fun.

Its real different, and would be hard to find ranked games as far as competitive mode goes,It is kinda old now and leveling up would be hard to achieve. BUT co-op mode which is totally separate and real different, you can level up your 3 characters medic, soilder, spec-ops in non-ranked matches( you can still find ranked matches just rare). Its really the best part of R2(co-op), plus you can play split screen online with a buddie in both competitive and co-op modes. If all else the single player campain is the reason to get it. At the low price you can get it for i would say that you still can get a big bang out of your buck and alot of people still play this, so the community is decent.
