Chrono is jaded. All the games he just bashed are actually good.

The reason I'm saying all this is because you sound like you're looking for everything that could be possibly negative within a game. I try to look at the positives in any game. As long as the game is fun, then I'm going to enjoy it. I'm NOT going to overlook any negative aspects of a game, but I'm certainly not going to go out of my way in order to hunt for anything negative within a game (which is what you seem to be doing).

That's the worst part: I don't. And even if I didn't enjoy most of the games from last year, who are you to tell me what to do? I know what I like and I always have expectations. (For better or for worse.)

Games are meant to be games. You either enjoy them or you don't.

I usually enjoy them. I actually enjoy most games I play and I played enough games last year. But, most of the games I enjoyed weren't released last year. I was merely catching up.

Arkham City and Skyward Sword are some of the best ''modern'' games I've played. But are they perfect games? Of course not. But the positives far outweigh the negatives, therefore I greatly enjoy them. Games like Sonic 06 are cr*p because there's hardly nothing positive about them. You sound like you can't even make up your mind on whether you hate or love Arkham City, so I highly doubt I can take your posts seriously anymore.

You're acting like I'm expecting perfect games and are completely exaggerating my point. I didn't like either of those games. Why? Because I've seen it before and if they weren't boring and tedious, they were frustrating and unrewarding.

I don't mindlessly play video games, I play them for the experience. And when the experience is being held back due to awful controls and annoying characters (SS), or even an objective and items I've seen fifteen times beforehand, it's going to get a little irritating. _{Especially when I blow $50 on it day one.}

So really, it all comes down to the point: Chrono Cross wasn't pleased last year.

Like I said before, I'm not trying to be jaded or mean, I'm just saying there really isn't anything coming out for the rest of the year. And those games I "bashed" were not being bashed. I just didn't enjoy them.

2013 already looks much better than this year. Animal Crossing 3D, Tomb Raider, Bioshock Infinite, AND Dead Space 3? ;DDD

The games omitted are either games that were already out, the Wii U launch? lol, terrible spin offs, or games I never heard of.

I've also been told that Heroes of Ruin is pretty bad and Skulls of Shogun just sounds interesting. An RTS I'm guessing?

Skulls of the shogon is a SRPG like Fire Emblem and Advance Wars.

I'd suggest looking up ztuff like deadlight and dust.

Well I was just about to preorder AC 3 from Amazon until I realized they stopped their 99 cent release day shipping deal now.

And I am not going to bother with the scourge that is Gamestop.

So in the end I'll just save up and buy it at Target on release day.

@Chrono_cross I noticed you removed the new Layton game from the list. Seeing as you're a member of Nintendolife, I find it hard to believe that you haven't heard of it and it clearly isn't a terrible spin-off so why did you remove it?

Never played one before. I've been told they're puzzle games but I've honestly never looked into it the series.

You really should. As much as I hate the puzzle aspect, The PnC adventure parts have some fantastic writing. I really gotta finish watching lets plays of them so I can get the rest of the story...

I just got Arkham Asylum in the mail today, but I won't get to play it till Monday or Tuesday since I have family down for the week.

I have a quick question any other time I have got a GOTY edition that came with DLC it came with a code to get it and this one didn't. I'm assuming/hoping it's all ready on the disk?
