I honestly appreciate the thought but have played dance dance revolution ps2 as a rental both from my local library & block bluster when it was still around back then along with trying to play it in arcades. I like the game but can never keep up with hitting the buttons fast enough whether using a controller or foot pad to play the game. Even tried the dance games on wii, switch, etc it all ends with me getting frustrated from not being able to keep up with hitting the buttons fast enough or being coordinated enough to play.
I'll try mega man on ps1. I did rent Kingdom hearts on ps2 from our local library years ago. It was interesting to say the least. 🤷♀️ Not sure I understood the storyline at the time tbh but thought the graphics were nice back then~ 🤷♀️

I have played DDR for more than 20 years so I can give you a tips to enjoy DDR games on PS2.
The secret to enjoy DDR games and able to play higher difficulty of DDR songs is from your foot placement.
When you play DDR on Arcade or console, try to move your legs like you are walking with your two feet, not by using one leg and stepping on every arrows you see on the screen. That's the biggest mistake for newbie DDR player always did.
For example: when you see there are three arrow with different position like Right Left Right, don't step all those arrows with only your right leg. Instead, doing this.
Use your right leg to step the Right arrow then use your left leg to press the Left arrow while your right leg is already stepped on right arrow, then raise your right leg and press again the Right arrow.
The secret is press all the arrows like walking with two feet, not by one leg.
I'm sure the special needs people can play DDR with this basic skill like this.
Here is the DDR Lesson video to learn.
Also, you can speed up the arrow movement by x1.5 or by x2 to make it easier to read the arrow patterns especially when the song getting harder and the arrows will looked crowded.
DDR is a Rhythm game so you can use Arrow skin color Note arrow to show the quantize of the arrow tempo so you can follow the rhythm of the music by recognize the arrow color.
DDR using Red arrow color for 1/4 tempo, Blue for 1/8 tempo, Yellow for 1/16 tempo and Green for 1/12 or even smaller tempo.
Also, you need to listen and recognize the song pattern so you can step on the arrows precisely when you can follow the rhythm from the music you listen when playing DDR.
Well, that's my tips for playing DDR.
You need to practice a lot from Beginner difficulty first, mastering your foot placement until you can get at least A grade.
DDR is not that hard game to play, but you need a lot of practice and determination.
I can play DDR until Challenge level difficulty, the highest level I can played so far is level 17 - 18, depend on the songs and their arrow patterns.
As the songs goes harder, you also need to build your stamina so you can pass the songs with a lot of arrows spammed from the bottom.
Happy gaming.
@Barbiegurl777 Nice, I hope you have fun. I can understand why, considering that you're a huge Hello Kitty fan. That's cool. Right now, for me at least, I'm not in a rush to get any more games. There is a Switch game voucher I should use, but I have plenty of time to decide what game I want to get before it expires next year. Maybe Xenoblade Chronicles X...? I do want to get a Switch 2 and Mario Kart World at some point, too. Would love to see the next 3D Mario platformer... but they haven't revealed it yet.
