Finally got EV trained shiny Eevee to evolve into Umbreon. Good night all, will obviously focus on Espeon next during my hour workout in the morning.

Pokeradar is sucking bad, i have had multiple chains with 30+ encounters or more. The worst part about it is i finally get the different music going and then my chain breaks, this f'n blows. Am i supposed to always go into the grass when the music changes? Or do i just do my best to stay in that chain since it is considered a "lucky chain"? I noticed that reset my radar and the music went back to normal then it came back and it was there for 2 encounters in a row then it was gone again, i reset my radar because the grass did not look promising at all...

@GrandmasterP I'd stay in the grass while you reset..don't be a hero and venture out to the unknown (only way I could imagine the music stopping and starting and breaking the chain) I also read that chains, sometimes, just randomly break, but far less than a fishing chain would.

I was mad bro, I had the shiny music going and i reset and went into tall shaking grass and find the wrong friggen pokemon..

@GrandmasterP I've been there a few times, usually though, I try to make myself feel better by pretending my 20+ chain was only a 2, and that I actually wanted to just train and level my pokemon T_T and I guess its better than a shiny Graveller waking up and using explosion after "it was so close"

I've been extremely lucky with these safaris. Shiny Ninetales and Magmar just like that

@Tronmays I have only found shiny ditto on friend safari and now Leftwingzero has it. I have also found shiny scyther and gurdurr.

@GrandmasterP I've found shiny swirlix, mawile, kirlia, togepi, ninetales, and magmar in friend safari. But for the longest I couldn't find shinies in safaris. It was the last place I found shinies. I got my first through pokeradar. Then the masuda method then through hordes. Last was friend safari. Idk I was just unlucky with friend safari at the beginning

@GrandmasterP I think that's probably what I would do too, seeing as I never used M-ball (quick ball, because I don't have time for that) although, I'd feel like Damp could actually be a great achievement-moment so you can finally say "OMFG, this only-to-be-used-against-explosion ability has a purpose!!!!1111!!!"

I had a shiny Wheezing blow up on me in Pearl. Luckily I found a shiny Graveller in Y and caught it before it went off.
