Do you know if you turn your system off during the masuda method if it resets? I have hatched 50 eggs so far and i don't know if it does and i don't want to turn off my power if it resets back to 0.

No it doesnt.
It's all based on luck, so it doesnt matter how many you hatched, refers to Leftwingzero 's way of hatching shinies.

Leftwingzero's way~ (had to look for it a bit)
When I start shiny breeding, I save when the Day Care Man is looking at me. I then create the five eggs, and hatch them. If none of them are shiny, I soft reset. From here on, everytime I soft reset I refuse the first egg that the Day Care Man offers me, then collect the next five. I do this because even when the first egg is being made and has not been accepted yet, all of its stats are predetermined. I use my shiny Talonflame with Flame Body, and Hatching O-Power Level 3. With all this, at least with quick hatchers like the starters, it takes me about five minutes from soft reset to soft reset, which is about an egg hatched every minute.
